古典意义上的师傅有传道授业解惑的责任，需要对学生区别对待，找到学生成长的最佳
方案。而作为group leader，最主要的特质应当是公平。让每个成员在加入团队后能为
团队成长发挥作用，而团队对成员的贡献给予公平的回报。这样才能在最大限度上激励
成员。反过来，团队成员如果出现行为错误，作为group leader，不应该让犯错误的成
员取得和他人一样的回报。这实际上是版上faculty们讨论问题的出发点

两个都发了onsite 邀请
几天前刚刚答应了UPR 选了日子。这个PICB通知来了。日子是定好的，在UPR 的面试7
天前。
可是回去了还要去美使馆签证。虽然5个月前才签过，很可能是一签过不用check，可是
那还是要等到5~10天左右才能拿到护照。很可能赶不上，而且有可能check。所以倾向
放弃PICB 这个。
请问PICB group leader 值得冒险一下吗 |

follow，愿意为他/她赴汤蹈火呢？
我自己喜欢follow的老板一般有这么几个特点：聪明，有vision，create
opportunities/ exposure for their people. 这和我自己的motivation有关，当我觉
得自己原地踏步的时候往往就是我对这个公司这份工作失去兴趣的时候。
反过来的话，怎样才能做一个好的老板，来motivate自己的手下呢？想听听大家的意见
。在管理职位上的可以分享一下经验。不在管理职位上的也可以从下属的角度谈谈看法。
我觉得一些基本的道理我都懂，做得也不算差，但离所谓的inspirational leader还是

是用各种lure，没反应。看到其他人用bait，就跟他们学着扔bunker chunk。所有人钓
上来的都是blue，但很大。
有一次我已经hook了一只blue拉了一半主线断掉了，应该不是拉断的，因为杆子上没觉
得拉力很大，应该是被咬断的。我用的leader应该是strong enough了，可为什么主线
会被咬断？它不会是把整个leader都吞了吧，还是在它挣扎的时候咬到了主线呢。想问
一下有经验的人，因为掉striper bass时应该也会经常碰到blue，要用什么办法对付它
们的伶牙俐齿呢？

bouncing有争议，说是flossing，也就是刮鱼的一种方法。我们钓sockeye salmon和
red spring salmon，必须用这种方法，因为sockeye一进淡水，就停止进食。我试过，
leader越长，越容易中鱼，空钩都很容易中鱼！因此，我目前站在了相信“bottom
bouncing = 刮鱼”的阵营中，哈哈。 |

新手对fly fishing 的set up 自己的理解可能和实际情况不一样，或者是长度大小不合适，来这里问东一句，西一句的也可能误导， 一个办法是拿着你的东西，去basspro，或者 fly shop 店， 请他们帮你弄一下，你就明白了为什么那样。他们其实很乐意帮忙，培养客户和市场。 |
