因为在外地，电面两轮，有一轮还是新题，也写出来了，反馈说很strong
onsite两道coding都写出来了。有一题最后只有几分钟让我写附加题，意思还没理解清
楚，但还是写了，写完发给面试官邮箱。但后来意识到附加题写错了，但前面都写得很好
第二个coding写完还有15min 面试官问我怎么打算 我说再来一题？他说不用了 带我去

culture fit也聊的很开心。我感觉自己发挥的很好。
architecture那个感觉不是要我设计scalability，就是围绕数据库做设计，logic

layer (剖的话麻药就打在这一层），再往里好像是骨髓。于是，LD问老师麻醉师怎么
知道是不是刚好扎到该去的那一层，老师说扎到Epidual layer的时候会有一定的
resistance,麻醉师凭needle碰到的resistance来判断，当然运气不好万一扎过了，会
有spinal fluid流回针管，这样麻醉师就知道扎过了。万一扎过了，麻醉师会当场告诉

layer boards. Lower layer is much thicker 1.5" OSB. Upper layer is
1/2" plywood.
I guess the confusion comes from the different terms, in our area, we
called them subfloor and construction floor among the construction
workers. But I just googled it, it is typically called finished floor
and subfloor. Whatever, you know what I am talking about.

有人总喜欢拿marine layer当借口，其实，就是前几天那么蓝天白云的时候，大海那边
也是尿黄色
那个才是marine layer呢
单位窗口望出去对面的远山，那是内陆啊，真不完全是marine layer，真的是污染
我们单位稍微年纪大点的都说70年代更厉害
cal tech上学的学生看不到北边就是山，偶尔刮大风刮开污染了，有的学生和新大陆似的
原来那边是山
自从smog check以来才开始逐渐变好
但洛杉矶smog依然厉害 |

这是marine layer还是smog
他说：
both， smog往往也是在marine layer的时候最严重，有载体云云
所以，老拿marine layer当挡箭牌的，也很苍白，呵呵
洛杉矶就是鸡头凤尾，跟美国比污染最厉害，跟天朝比，毛毛雨拉，闻闻smog，怀念怀
念家乡拉，哈哈哈 |

LA因为地球自转 海风带来太平洋水气多 Marine Layer现象很重
有看美国气象多会知道
那主要是marine layer 是一种自然现象
太平洋的水气 地球自转吹向陆地
不懂就自己wikipedia一下
这不论在北加南湾还是南加都非常明显
看起来白白的 但这和大陆的烟雾还是有差的
其实很多人包括美国外地人都分不清楚这些差别
看本地美国气象常会讲到
洛杉矶的空气在世界比起来
并不算差的 和国内比起来更是天差地远
如果拿LA和巴黎来比好了很多很多
大城市空气糟一些是应该的 但医学技术好 医疗资源丰富
空气人多的地方总是比不上乡下地方
但也不需要过度反应
美国空气没有那么差
obama已经制定了强制的法律汽车油耗要快速逐年减少

以前jobhunting有人就提到过，说没下飞机就看到黄黄的空气就不想去了，呵呵
当然marine layer未必是因为污染
南加的情况是，marine layer外加污染both 存在 |

整。下雨就到处是小积水。另外他们卖房子的时候，图省事省钱，就凑合着找劳模喷了
薄薄一层沥青，想一抹黑遮丑。结果，到我们手上后，经过一轮的春夏秋冬，表面的沥
青涂层因为热胀冷缩，都开始松脱剥落了，看着特恶心。现在路面就是黑黑白白的，斑
点状，特丑。
现在夏天了，想把driveway翻新。弄沥青还是水泥？
明州的水泥路，报价一般在多少（网上说$5-10/square feet )? 沥青的价位区间？
我看网上介绍说，寒冷地区，沥青路面似乎更适合一些。因为水泥路面，受热胀冷缩，
物理变形得厉害，裂缝很明显。另外北方地区冬季都要撒化雪盐，会损毁水泥面。 沥
青则没有这方面的问题。而且化雪盐不破坏沥青路面。还有就是沥青路面，吸收太阳热
能，在冬季下雪的时候，沥青路面化雪的速度，比水泥快很多。最后一个好处，沥青的
施工费用比水泥便宜很多，35-50%不等。而且数年后翻新的话，沥青只需要翻新top
layer重铺， base layer and middle layer都不用动。这样以后维护翻新的成本大大
