你撒过 weed & feed 近期不能撒草籽发芽的。看你撒的

accordingly. If you choose to do only one thing to your lawn, this is the
one you should do.
2. Adjust the irrigation system to do deep but infrequent watering. You
have cool season grass so you shouldn't be in a very hot location. The rule
of thumb is to water 1 inch (so water gets into 4-6 inch into the soil)
once every 7 days. Depending on your soil, you may need to adjust
accordingly. But every 2 days is too much.

除草剂叫“Weed B Gone” 绝大多数都是只杀阔叶杂草 (Broad leaf weed)，
也有其它牌子的，标签上有注明可以杀哪些草，以及用量。
Roundup 顾名思义是一锅端，千万别用来除草地上杂草，不然后果你明白。
除杂草 (Broad leaf weed) 其实很简单，不过要有耐心。最好的季节是秋春两季，
秋季最佳。夏季，是杂草生命力最旺盛的时期，你是在 Fight a losing battle.
天又热，蚊子也多，大家就歇歇吧。
除杂草，其实很简单，秋季施入冬肥时，记得买 Winterizer “Plus Weed Control"，
什么肥倒是次要的，但记得一定要有 "Weed control"。来年春天草地再起来的时候，
你就神奇地发现不需要拔杂草啦。
春季施第一次肥时也记得一定要买带 Weed control 的，经过这两轮下来，基本上草地就
没有阔叶杂草了，如果还有少量，你又实在忍无可忍，那就是上 Weed-B-Gone 的时候，
买个喷雾器打一打。

草坪一共3000尺左右，分前后院，在东北部。
前院的草坪还可以，有一些秃的地方，感觉是被树叶盖住了。有一些杂草，但不多。后
院大多是 Moss 和 杂草，前后院连接的地方冬天被松针完全盖住了，现在寸草不生。
找 Lawn Service 的人看了下，说是会 fertilize, add lime, weed control, grub
control, 秋天的时候重新种草，然后再 winter fertilize。一共来6次吧，要$550。
我想自己来。一是我不想等到秋天才种草，因为有些地方现在完全是秃的，一下雨土就
被冲走了。二是觉得 weed control 和 grub control 估计他们会用 chemical，所以
考虑要不要自己弄。这两个不弄可以吗？

If your budget is a bit tight, you can buy a scissor instead and trim the

quiet fast. even if i don't mow the lawn every 2 wks, i have to do it every
3 wks, otherwise the lawn looks ugly as hell.
when the temperature gets above 90 deg outside, along with humidity, mowing
the yard can become a very unpleasant experience, you get sweaty very
quickly, and there are all the bugs flying around. so a powerful and
reliable lawn mower is a must. |

continue until frost. •Fall armyworm activity continues to rise here
in Atlanta. Dr. Rick Brandenburg from NCSU says that it may be the worst
