发帖数: 7982 | 2 房子并不是每间都一定要有用处呀，lot有1万多，单层在2000 sqf都ok呀。
formal living 就是living room呀，放三角钢琴，家庭聚会时候的表演，反正就是
show off的地方。
一般1楼的标配是：
后面是family room,
和breakfast area，
kitchen 一起，只是平时casual的地方。
office
powder room 就是1楼的half bath,给客人，或是平时厕所用。现在你1楼是所有人都
share 一个厕所，如果要用书房该成卧室，就没有private而言，而外人要用厕所，也
感觉倾入别人领地
formal dining
1 guest room w/bath.
然后laudry room / mud room.
二楼的话，你楼梯口在窄了，房子会看上去走地道战样，没有open area,最好加个loft
作为open area. 另外在master bath里面没有梳妆台面。在右边的那个角，against
walking closet 的墙那倒是可以再放组柜子做梳妆台。另外如果是我，不太喜欢连在

perimeter drain system，所以
basement总体还是比较干燥的。但他又在laundry room里放了一个抽湿机。这个laudry
room有个窗户，烘干机有个管道通到窗户上。紧挨着laundry room是一个bath room（
不怎么用），再出去就是finished basement。这两天我用kill a watt测了一下这个抽
湿机，设定湿度是60，一天耗电8kwh，水抽了大概1加仑。如此耗电是不是放的位置不
对？应该放到更开放的空间，而不是憋在basement一角的laundry room里？或者把加湿
机每天定时开一段时间？现在我几乎就听不见他的风扇停下来，或者这个加湿器坏了？
每月光这个加湿器就要240kwh可真有点多了！请有经验的指点一下，谢谢！ |

, some family requires one dish, some requires 3-4 dish. Even with one dish,
some requires like home-made dumpling will take more time than cooking
frozen dumpling.
Same for the cleaning: some family may only requre to clean baby's bottles,
some requires clean dishes too, some family requires also clean floor, do
laudry, give baby/kids bath ect. |

。四年24米打水漂就算了，不要再出来坑人了。

发帖数: 654 | 44 一般是不洗的，但是我洗过好几回。如果有removable frame／foam/inserts, 先要取出来，能够分离的、拆开的部件都拆开。 勤快的可以泡在浴缸里洗，用一点laudry detergent, 讲究的用nikwax 或者Granger 等牌子的outdoor clothing cleaner (it has much less residual than normal laundry detergent），然后洗衣机甩干，再过一遍水，甩干。如果不想手洗，而且包包的体积不大，可以直接机洗。
自然晾干，不能烘干。 |

发帖数: 609 | 48 本人昨天发了个贴 “从骂中国贪官看旅美华人的无知" http://www.mitbbs.com/article_t/WaterWorld/947047.html ). 招来一片骂声。所有根贴一至说我无知，都认为move money很容易，随便都可以汇钱进美国。我原来是随便说说，现在发现老中对美国的了解实在太少。除了不会美国式打扮，不会吃美国食物，连很多美国的基本常识都没有。有兴趣的人可以google一下美国的反洗钱法 (anti-money laudrying, wire fraud)，我这里就不多说了。美国银行都有software跟踪顾客的现金存款，一有疑点就报告FBI.我这里只举个例子。IRS 规定，父母每人每年只能给小孩$13000美金。超过部分要交税。同理，如你小孩买房，你帮他们付down payment. 如超过$26000, 超过的部分也要交税。总之，理论上讲，你的每笔收入都要有合理的来源，要报税。当然，数量不多就没人管了，因为管不过来。不是看不起自己的同胞。很多老中真土阿。看来要多发贴进行再教育。 |

找个beach,海边租个小屋子: 你总的pack/unpack, 到了那里， 喝酒就得自己买，吃饭
也不能天天每顿都吃餐馆吧。不是钱的问题，胃也受不了，所以总的做几顿饭。 还得
收拾屋子。不如hotel，人家给你把被子都叠好了。所以基本上就是先花两天，把常用
家装设备pack好,到了那里unpack. 白天计划吃啥（出去吃，也得计划不是？好的餐馆
也需要预定），晚上要喝的酒，第二天早上要吃的cereal，也得去shopping上。 然后
，白天，该带娃的带娃，照样得收拾屋子。 过上几天，衣服脏了，照样做laudry。一
周两周后，把打开的这些东西pack好，收拾冰箱，吸地，回家，unpack.
如果特别想到处跑得就弄个房车： 开房车不累吗？ 房车比一般车难开，更难倒。 上
下水谁弄？
要想轻松，只有cruise或者all inclusive hotel. 这些不是钱的问题，这两种都有便
宜的，比第一种vacation house便宜多了的，是度假方式的区别。

得可能是暂时的，搬到新家之后开始都好好的，现在又开始重倒覆辙，一楼二楼各一个
litter box, 二楼的不怎么用，一楼是木地板，铺了area rug, 哪不拉不吐，偏偏要在
rug 上又抓又拉又吐。 都是新的干净漂亮的地毯。为了防止他们抓地毯，买了很多抓板
，也是amazon评价很高的，比较贵的。就是不用，全当摆设。现在心理很烦，把她关进
了放litter box的laudry room, 我从小到大养她10来年，她脾气年年见长，不好相处
不说， 现在又开始破坏我布置的新家，超过了我忍耐的极限。 有时真的想把她仍出去
。 有什么解决办法吗？ 和lg商量outdoor, 但是又觉得不太现实，因为我知道她的脾
气，就是个窝里横，出门就吓破胆。即便出门一会儿就要进来，一会又要出去，叫起来
声嘶力竭，要惊扰邻居。。。。 真的烦死了，怎么摊上这么个猫啊。。。 |
