环节上都胜出对手--face-off, block shots, forecheck, back
check, shot on goal, penalty killing...还有特别重要的就是
守门员的发挥。
加拿大有很多技术细腻的队员马田圣路易、paul kariya、joe thorton、
scott niedermayer...

outplayed Joe not only the whole regular season but the playoff, too. Plus, he
is the center of the 1st line now with Hejduk (Tanguay would be 2nd line
replaced by Kariya this season?), Joe is the 2nd line. I don't know, but some
how I think Sakic is slipping. |

nothing after Kariya injured... had trouble in defense, Aebischer hasn't
stepped up to be a "good" goalie yet.
the defination of a good goalie: after the game was over, when other players
thought it over, they had to say "Gosh, we played horrible tonight but thanks
god for this goaltender for saving our game." |

-disappointing season, but largely due to injuries(Blake especially).
-Paul Kariya's two injuries affected his speed and wrist shot.
-Temmu Selanne blamed himself for not working out.
-Foppa hasn't mentioned his intention yet.
-Under new CBA, every team have to make management changes. Avs will
still be an elite team in the NHL.

Tanguay. Even without those players, they have a roster as good as any
other team except the Wings. On offense, they got three lines who can score
at the end of regular season, on defense, both Vaananen and Boughner are
solid,
they are plus players in both series.
The reason they lose is they don't have a system. Either Tony didn't have
one,
or the players didn't buy in his system. You can not penetrate Shark's

亚洲人和印巴人只是都是第二代移民，其它国家的有法官、巴西、丹麦、
德国的。不过中国来的就我一个。
nhl里还有不少非白人的队员比如paul kariya（半韩）, richard park
（韩）, johnathan cheechoo（印第安），jarome iginla（半黑），
教练里还有jim paek（韩）, ted nolan（印第安）……
我们oilers还有很多黑人队员grant fuhr, anson carter, george
laraque。 |
