发帖数: 379 | 7 看着天气预报一天比一天悲观，都以为又要cancel了，星期三晚上，连着预报的雨天里
突然冒出来一个可能的晴天，星期四Wes让我们投票，大家都愿意去碰碰运气，所以周
四晚上照常出发。结果天气比我们想象的好多了，基本没什么云，视野很开阔。晚上在
Hairpin turnover的碎石地上camping，满天的繁星和大片大片的星云，看得好清楚。
星期五早上6点半从停车场出发，翻过一个很矮的boudler的小土坡，到达pass下面的那
个boulder大坡之后，直接往左走，在 boulder坡的左缘有trail。往左、往上，trail
很快消失在另一片boulder区里，这里到pass，boulder和trail各一半，late season一
般也就这condition了。一个小时左右上到pass，沿着比较solid的石头drop很缓的一段
，转过弯去看见右手侧最突出的那个尖顶就是Kangaroo temple。这一段有很多很大的
、光滑的slab石头，别上去，尽量保持在它们下面贴着edge走。最后一段approach没有
trail，就是自己找路朝着climb base的方向走，一路全是碎 |

上周沿多瑙河匆匆游览了三国三城,维也纳,布达佩斯,和斯洛伐克的Bratislava.
有趣的是金色音乐大厅边上一家啤酒店专卖澳大利亚的Foster,感觉特别亲切,奥地利自
己的啤酒不好喝,大概又对德国的不感冒,就从down under弄点南洋景吧.不远处一家旅
游用品店有T衫上印着"奥地利没有袋鼠",十分诙谐.
三处都是老城,许多世界遗产,主要是文化遗产,不象澳大利亚多是自然遗产,比如那个大
红石,飞机飞过时机长教我们临窗俯瞰,却谁也找不着,只看到一望无际的沙漠.中欧没有
沙漠,只有庄园,而且原社会主义东欧那边的还都很破落,虽然麦当劳已经随处可见,星巴
克还寥寥无几,以至于欧元还要5,6年才能被接受. |

We drove to Blue Lake Trail head Friday night and slept in the car. Saturday
morning at 6, we met at the hairpin (it's about half mile past Washington
pass if you drive east on North Cascades highway, you can't miss it). The
approach begins from here. There is no well maintained trail. You have to
find your way in the boulders and bushes. There are patches of snow but
nothing bigger than half of a basketball court. No ice ax needed as of mid
July 2008.

大袋鼠，有red kangaroo, grey kangaroo等幾種。身材高大，奔跑迅速，還很大膽好
鬥。我10年前坐火車穿越戈壁時，就看到red kangaroo在夕陽中追逐火車賽跑，好可愛
。
wallaby是沙袋鼠，多生活在澳洲海岸線，身材小巧，動作靈敏。圖片中的那隻wallaby
就是我們在tasmania一個半島露營時拍的。他們很擅長攔路打劫，找人要食物。我就在
那個NP的YHA遇到扭傷一條腿的驢友，一問之下才知她是因逃避wallaby打劫扭到筋骨..
. 果然我們入山後，就被一家wallaby圍住gas爐要食物... 後面那張possum也是一家
三口，半夜來我的帳篷偷東西吃，被抓現行，還兇惡的不得了。 那個半島的西面人跡
罕至，估計牠們等了好久才有肥羊送上門來，所以不能輕易放過我們啊。

能营养不够，宝宝觉得不爽，要急急地跑出去。现在你的宝宝这么小，肯定没法胸喂，
当初医生让我天天去kangaroo,说宝宝光着膀子和母亲有肌肤接触，感受母亲体温，听
母亲的心跳，对成长非常有好处。那时我还偷偷地让她试试吃奶，没想到她的嘴太小，
乳头塞不进去，而且她在身上抱着时总是特别困，不成功。当时医院专门帮我们这些妈
妈用帘子遮起来做kangaroo,有妈妈宝宝的私人空间，很温馨的说。当时我也是天天送
奶，其实宝宝根本吃不了那么多，开始一顿只能从胃管里注入4ml,后来慢慢加上去，我
的奶最后把nicu的冰箱全占了，出院时扔了三分之二，剩下三分之一把家里的冰柜又全
占了，最后还是扔掉了。但是你一定要坚持pump,这些pumping的行为都是为了将来宝宝
有奶喝，是值得的。而且如果你住的地方有捐奶的，多余的奶可以捐掉。现在的日子很
难熬啊，泵奶的时候听听音乐，时间就容易过了，你要加油啊，好好养身体，好好泵奶
，老公能在身边帮忙真是很好，经过这一场你们的感情也会更好的，呵呵，好日子就在

这里的华人孩子优秀的实在太多了，各种体育文艺优异，成绩特别好的，到处是，我很

结果，昨天拿了个math kangaroo的书想让女儿试试看，我老公跑过来说，你何必呢，
这么小给看奥数题？我说，啊？啥是奥数题啊？Kangaroo那个也算奥数题？那奥数题也
太简单了吧。。。
后来女儿稀里哗啦随便坐坐，很多题目都不能完全理解，应该说没有耐心读完，里面的
word problems最关键就是阅读理解能力，娃显然还是没有ready。老公觉得没看到
talent就不应该推，就应该随便她去。但是我老公说已经看到她对游泳队擅长。。。结
果我又不是很乐意，这游泳再推，她能游到啥，就这么随便游游吧。
钢琴，我说要坚持，我老公说她没有什么talent，我也同意，她没有talent，但是，没
有talent就不能坚持了。女儿把钢琴排最后一位，那是因为钢琴需要practice，其他兴
趣班统统都是上课完就了事，所以才排最后一位。

AOPS的Beast Academy就是一些教材？怎么会三年级就有４本？那个beestar也是听说过
，没有具体看过怎么样。上次和大学同学聊天也没听他提起也就没看，回头也去看看。

刚看了下beestar的3年级的样本题， 和学校偶尔布置的作业难度区别不算大。
也看了下美国math kangaroo 2011的题，从最低到最高的都大致看了下，然后就糊涂了
，实在是不知道哪个年级的孩子该知道哪些。大致的感觉是要点灵活应用，但不需要转
几个弯的那种。
我个人更喜欢系统的训练，但现在不知道从哪开始。准备就让他做题比如kangaroo2009
年的，不会了就跟他讲 - 就把习题当教材。完了，再让他做2011年的，这个时候就主
要让他自己动脑子。 |

儿子觉得题目简单地话，我觉得可以尝试做高一年级的题。
美国小初中数学大致走循环上升的路线。很多知识点低年级就引入，然后每年加深一些
。所以往深走，往难走，和往前走差不多是一个方向。
AOPS的Beast Academy目前只有三四年级(缺五年级)，每年级四本。据说内容由浅入深
到竞赛题水平。
Math Kangaroo偏智力趣味题。有些题你很难对应到书上的知识点。我比较喜欢这种题
。不过可能对系统训练不合适。
想来想去，你要想搞有点难度的系统训练，也只有AOPS的pre-algebra。也许AOPS的
Beast Academy也可以。

日前，澳洲金牌泳手霍顿“羞与用禁药泳手同池”来挖苦中国奥运选手孙杨，这自然招
致中国上至官媒及国家单位，下至广大网民的愤慨。在澳洲游泳协会拒绝大陆方面提出
要求霍顿就此事道歉之后，大陆网民纷纷建言，要求抵制澳洲货，其中包括澳洲奶粉和
Speedo泳衣。
据法广网报道，用经济购买力和恃着庞大市场而要挟他人就范的做法，中国大陆已经是
驾轻就熟，例如杯葛疑似“台独”艺人或支持港独的香港艺人，最近又因 “萨德入韩
”而抵制韩国艺人。
在微博上，有网民建议抵制霍顿代言的Speedo泳衣，声称“运动员的很大部分收入来自
代言，你要道歉有吗用啊？”有网民把抵制行为扩大至其他澳洲商品，当中包括持续被
中国大妈抢购一空的奶粉。

上猎人野生动物救援组织的布拉德·史密斯对此感到坐立不安。他正在救助超过160只
袋鼠孤儿，每年夏天，他都会搜救这些被称为“乔伊”的幼年袋鼠。
