为什么公司不愿意给你正式工？没有head count呗。经理只有可以用的budget，that's

我目前是J签证，正在犹豫是否要跟老板讨论换H签证的可能性。有些担心，如果换了H
签证，在找到faculty job之前，如果老板的funding没有了，就必须找到支持H签证的
新实验室，操作起来没有J签证容易。
提前办理豁免似乎也有类似的问题，比如没有拿到教职，老板的funding如果也不够再
支持一年的，那也要找到支持H签证的新实验室。

发帖数: 6971 | 31 照片应该是真的。那辆被人当作是作假证据的破车大概是别人从医院给他ride回家。他老婆送他吃早饭然后去stanford medical center开的车从尾灯形状看似乎是辆Audi。还有就是他的turtleneck的确是收在裤子里面的，外面套了个黑灰色的外套。
不过有一张Jobs的背影看上去特瘦的照片明显是PS过的。照片里有一个残趴sign，上面画的轮椅的轮子都成椭圆形了。肯定是把照片给挤扁了，好让Jobs看上去比实际瘦。
看其他的照片，Jobs并没有比上次露面显得更瘦，或是掉很多头发。人也是自己走，还跟老婆在外面吃饭，还去公司上班，今天还跟奥主席吃饭。Ruth Bader Ginsburg也是两年前胰腺癌手术，还是更烈性的那种，还是第二次得癌症，看上去比Jobs还瘦很多，现在也还在上班呢。
我看乔主席起码还有一年阳寿，大家安啦。不过也别忘了多替他pray啊。顺便发我点儿伪币吧，为了这个野鸡FA我可花了4刀真币呢。 |

难的，硬件软件什么都包了，就给你中国工人几元钱一个的加工费。给JOBS打工的富十
康甚至还不如做衣服出口的。
象ANDRIOD，WINDOW PHONE人家就高软件，一个免费，一个收１０元。你至少还可以
搞一个自己的品牌，象HTC，至少比富十康强。

西，我也没有long过AAPL，因为我认为i的东西在技术上是落后的，只在packaging、
marketing、sales上是先进的，但我尊敬Jobs，因为他对mp3、智能手机和平板电脑的
推广普及所做的贡献，就像那些在中国落后地区扫盲、支教的人一样。我15年以前自己
用dos命令rip音轨写MP3碟的时候，10年前用黑白触摸屏低速上网智能手机的时候，5年
前用Windows tablet的时候，做梦也没有想到现在MP3、智能手机和平板电脑会如此普
及，连婴儿和90多的老太太都很容易上手。
我以前short过两次AAPL，一次是08年上半年，一次是今年1月Jobs宣布病假前（当然我
不会预测他病假，是按TA判断的），虽然我知道今天AAPL跌，但我没有在纪念Jobs的日
子里short AAPL.

中签，10月H1B即将生效。我的入职日期定在10月初，所有入职手续都已经在7月办好，
只等入职。但是由于行业变化，公司在9月1日突然决定撤销我的job offer。据电话中
HR所说，本部门全国范围内共有15个job offer被撤回，其中有两名国际学生（包括本
人）。公司愿意支付我的early acceptance bonus作为唯一的补偿。
但是我个人情况比较特殊。我本可以8月以前入职（最开始offer letter上是要我6月入
职，我推迟到10月）。我推迟到10月的唯一原因是我5月底生下小孩，目前仍在哺乳
期。据HR说如果8月以前入职，虽然不能保证不被lay off，但不会被撤销job offer。
我为了能够顺利入职，在孕期非常努力地工作完成最后的PhD学业，4月底通过PhD答辩
（怀孕9个月），8月14日拿到PhD学位。而且我没有申请OPT，目前身份是F1 grace
period。
公司毁约造成我的损失包括：
1. 提前毕业，无法继续通过校园招聘去应聘应届生职位。我整个PhD三年半读完，而正

Employment letter， job description 和 skill verification letter
我准备一个月后跳槽，我在想可不可以离开现在的公司前，让现在的公司把这三个文件
给我办好。
问题是：
1. Employment letter： 找HR开出来就可以吗？
2. job description： 是不是可以我自己写一个现在所在公司的job description 然
后拿给 manager签字就可以？ （可以不给manager 只让 HR签字吗？）
3. skill verification letter： 是不是可以我自己写一个现在所在公司的job

请？=> You can take the contract job, but it must be in the same field as
described in your I-140 application.
Also, a contractual job is different from the regular employment
relationship. If USCIS requests information about your employment in this
situation, you should provide information on the nature and duration of all
contractual agreements, and the contact information of the contracting
company. |
