This is not specifically for science presentation, but the general idea
behind the business presentation can be used to do the science presentation.
Most of the audience will not have the same background as you do, so the
question becomes how to convey your message without heavy usage of jargon
and to retain the audience's curiosity and attention to your speech.
Enjoy. |

I’ve recently made the acquaintance of a young man who has a problem. He is
28 years old; smart, of good moral character, and willing to work hard at
part-time jobs. He does not expect anyone else, including the government, to
support him. Yet he is puzzled and increasingly bitter that he cannot make

To counter a racial tilt in the funding of basic research grants, the
National Institutes of Health should launch a “continuous” review and take
remedial steps against bias, a working group told NIH Director Francis
Collins at a meeting on 14 June. These recommendations, laid out in a draft
report to the NIH Advisory Committee to the Director, are aimed at
correcting what the working group calls a “disturbing discrepancy”: Black

Because of the sequester, Navin's grant now will be cut a further 6 percent.

My attitude towards the subject after all my work in it can probably be best

even simpler.
Multiply both sides of the equation by y, we have
yy''' - 4xy'y - 2yy = 0 (1)
If you obsrve the left side carefully, you can find that it
is a (full) derivative, by integrating both sides, you got
a primary integral of the equation, thus reduce the equation
to second order. If you don't know the jargons above, just
skip and read on.
We can rewrite equation (1) as
