我要替中国辩护，并不是因为我是一个中国人，而是因为我知道中国就和这世界上绝大
数的国家一样，虽然有很多丑陋的现象，但是他们是受害者。就
象这个犯罪集团里很多的人一样，他们来自各种种族，他们可能充当了工具，但他们不
是制造这一切，谋划这一切的人。虽然经常会暴露中国产品出现问题。但要知道中国是
世界工厂，他们只是打工者，他们只是按照各种雇主提供的配方来生产，他们并不知道
他们会产生怎样的后果。或者这些工人知道后果，但他们只是奴隶，他们又如何去改变
这一切？ 所以，当我的调查不断往前推进的时候，不可避免地会涉及各国的企业，但
这并不表明是针对这个国家或这个国家的人民，而是针对一种社会现实和丑陋现象。就
拿菲律宾来说，菲律宾是一个犯罪猖獗的国家，有很多犯罪分子，但是菲律宾人民却是
这个集团的受害者，他们／她们被绑架，沦为了牺牲品，人体实验对象。一个日本人，

要想去看irish fest，他们主要想带孩子去world/ocean of fun。七个人，正好一部
odyssey。车子是新的，两个胖子坐前头了，孩子女眷和偶都在后头，座位正好，挺宽
敞，就是新车里的皮革味偶有点受不了。天公不作美，到kansas时天阴阴的，有零星的
小雨，不大耽误游玩，就是照相很不方便。既来之则安之，check in完了大家就直接去
irish fest。
这个irish fest偶早听美国同事介绍过，是kansas city每年一度的一个很大的event。
那里是不是irish后裔很多？去的时候，正轮到爱尔兰来的goitse乐队在表演，台下挤
得满满当当，鼓掌声口哨声和欢呼声此起彼伏。这个乐队很有名，youtube上有他们的
录像。偶也被他们精彩的演出吸引，站着听了近半个小时。他们的乐器组合很有特点，
小提琴、手风琴、吉他、长笛、还有一种鼓，有点像手鼓，一种四弦或五弦的琴，有点

什么Schumer和Durbin他们的bill一开始就表明了要捆绑。Brown的bill是后来跟风提的
，本身也没什么分量，Irish lobby group都不跟他谈，只跟Schumer谈。不过爱尔兰民
众并不了解他们的E3要跟3012捆绑才有希望。现在Brown选举面临困境，为了拉MA州

括了他要加入amendment的余地，这句话本身就等于他要hold到底了。因为Irish visa
跟3012捆绑是3为民主党大佬共同提出的，全部53位民主党参议员一致同意的。现在
Grassley说要把这个term去掉，这不可能过民主党这关。
以前大家认为Grassley跟Irish visa没有矛盾，只是想加自己的H1B reform，现在看他
跟Irish visa的矛盾非常大。先不论Grassley自己的amendment别人是否同意，以色列
的visa还等着attach，单是Grassley和所有民主党支持的Irish visa的矛盾，就已经是
一个非常严重的问题。 |

发帖数: 2580 | 46 和TG交手的英军坦克部队应该是来自 8th King's Royal Irish Hussars的侦搜坦克部
队和配属The Royal Ulster Rifles第一营的7th Royal Tank Regiment C squadron。
8th King's Royal Irish Hussars是团级部队，下辖3个centurion squadron及一个
cromwell recce troop。基本上，英军中的squadron就是营级单位，troop是连级单位
。一个squadron辖4个troop,每个troop有3辆坦克。一个squadron就有3X4=12辆坦克
。一般说来，英军的一个坦克团有4个squadron。这个8th King's Royal Irish Hussars装备了3个squadron的centurion重坦克。我估计那个侦搜连虽然是叫troop，但因为装备的是中型的cromwell坦克，坦克从数量上来说实际和squadron相当。51年5月之前，英军在朝鲜的装甲部队只有这个8th King's Royal Irish Hussars和

part in the korean war，vol. i, pp.386-395 里提到这几天的战斗，386页提到
astley-cooper 上尉率领的这支部队由8th King's Royal Irish Hussars的侦察排（
reconnaissance troop）组成，6辆克伦威尔坦克担任火炮观测之用，也提到由於皇家
乌勒斯特步枪团防线地形崎岖、道路狭窄，百人长式重坦克（48吨重）没被派到此地。
所以，50军打得只是克伦威尔式中型坦克，没有百夫长式重型坦克。

虽然是第二大宗教，Catholic也是被歧视对象。表面上是宗教问题，但是更深层的是种
族或者亚种族歧视。因为Catholic主要是Italian, Irish, Polish等等。 Italian被形
容成都是gangster, Irish被形容成都是alcoholic或者gangster，Polish被形容成
ruthless。
还有地域歧视，背后也有很多种族成分，但是就比较subtle。比如骂Boston，隐含骂
Irish的意思，比如Kennedy，甚至Kerry，虽然Kerry不是Irish。骂人New York，隐含
骂犹太人的意思，比如the west wing里面有一集，一个conservative的religious
group的女的，在white house骂new york...，其实就是骂Toby Ziegler和Josh Lyman
都是犹太人，虽然Josh Lyman很阿Q的说我是从Connecticut来的。还有midwest，The
