美军在越战一共损失5086架直升机，主要是在68－70年期间。72年到75年期间的比例不
算很大。这里有一个分年份的图。

另外，直升机事故大多都跟敌方火力无关，主要还是自身事故。
比如说2001－2003年，美军单纯因为事故而坠毁的直升机有14架，在伊战中因事故坠毁
