has been considering to switch to the 'first-to-file'system. a tough job cause
they then need to amend the constitution, i guess.
besides, don't forget the last clause of section 102, according to which u may
lose ur right if u 'conceal/suppress' ur invention. so, if u invent sth today
but wait for, say, two years, to file a patent (no publication etc). probably
u will be considered to have concealed/suppresse |

This is when the U.S. will go from a “first to invent” to a “first to
file” standard. Simply put, if someone invented the same thing AFTER you
but filed an application BEFORE you, you would win by the “first to invent”
standard but would lose by “first to file” standard. |

Annals+JAMS+inventions+Acta一年的数量也就百来篇.
PRL一年多少篇?
况且国内朱熹平有个学生phd也发过inventions,
华东师大据说也有过.
以我看PRL在数学里的地位也就是JDG, JSL这样的档次.
我见到好些人能在PRL上发文章的在CS和数学里发的文章差不多就是这个档次.
哪个厚点的杂志没有烂文章?
你以为Inventions没有?
再说了,做数学的转行之后混的更惨的也不是没有。
你说的这些,跟我说的
"我国其他各行各业的,有不少人发本领域世界最高层次的杂志"
这个事实无关。
最后,做理论的,20年混的很惨,然后被人猛重视也是有可能的。
做物理的还是少拿PRL这种杂志说事.
我见到几个做量子计算的发了PRL一大堆,
但跑到CS去只能发发TCS这种三流杂志. |

靠一个专利生活的人不是没有,但是极少。专利发明者排名,一般根据贡献多少排名。
如果在贡献多少上没有区别的话,一般以字母次序排。显然LZ找到的这个不是以字母次
序排的。另外,绝大多数这种职务发明即使雇主有专利使用费的经济收入,分到个人手
里的能占到20%就算大方的雇主了。就算是20%,也还要根据对专利的贡献分量在发明者
中分。

construction of carriers by the Chinese Gov. Also they have the right
