castle doctrine的保护。在NY则还有争议，因为NY penal code未明确给出其定义。
而且你完全是在颠倒黑白。Self defense的外延远远超过stand your ground,在很多种
其他情况下普通人也有自卫的权利。但是castle doctrine保护了住处和交通工具这些
地方的“绝对”自卫权利，属于自卫权的一个子集。到你嘴里怎么变成了“后者是前者
的延伸”？
只要他没有100%的把握，“know with certainty that you can avoid an intruder
by retreating”， 他就可以用武力反击首先发难的攻击者。这就和他人在何处毫无关
系了。

shot gun很难放在触手可及的地方又不被小孩碰到。
想想孩子，开枪的决心就有了。
值班枪里一般总压着子弹，可以不上保险放在小的密码箱里。
平时多到靶场练习，还有就是练习开密码箱，条件反射那种。
在练习开密码箱时，记得退子弹先。
提高安全系数，不见得一定得拥枪。
可以装个带central station的alarm system，再
贴个decal在显眼的地方，吓走大多贼人。
也可以DIY几个带夜视的wireless IP cam在室内室外。 |

properties. Think about the civil case even if you are not criminally
charged - it's going to cost you more.
However, if you have announced that you have a gun, and you have 911 on the
line with police on their way, AND the intruder insists on advancing TOWARDS
you, then IMO you should (or even must) open fire.
Of course, when you do, always shoot to kill - except if you missed the

一个普通的中年男性，有一把300刀的mossberg 12ga，无需联网的警报系统，和每个月
1次1，2个小时的训练，就可以在对上99%的入室抢劫犯时，占有装备上，准备上和训练
上的绝对优势。
反枪派对自己保卫自家亲人的能力如此看低，却选择相信平均训练时间和round count
只有普通枪友若干分之一的警察来保卫自己的生命安全？我提醒你一下，911 response
time is 12 min (national avg.) and 22 min (national avg. in case of armed
intruder).
