If I understand correctly, interest rate at time0 are from now till 1 year.
interest rate at time1 is from 1 year till 2 year.

我们两个都是F1,不过LD已经有了permanent offer, 现在用full time CPT在工作
之前在版上问，大家都说F1很难贷到款，除非付很高的down payment
所以我们买房过程中一直都心惊胆颤的，担心白忙活一场
没想到的是，F1的身份没有成为我们贷款的障碍，loan officer只是关心了一下我家ld
的工作是不是permanent。
关于interest rate，银行给我们的申请上写的是4.35%（15年fix），我跟我家ld说那
个没有locked，他非不信。上周五再仔细看了一下，发现其中有一段说要lock
interest rate的话，得打电话给loan officer，今天打电话后lock了我们的interest
rate：15年fix 4.25 |

double taxation是专指dividend之类的分红。公司交了税后，如果再付给股东股息
dividend，股东在股息上面还要交税，这种叫做double taxation。
把double taxation放到短期，或者长期资本利得上面，在accounting，finance，
economics的领域里面，没有人这么说。
美国税法上面区分短期和长期资本利得。短期是指投资在一年以内套现，按收入税收，
top marginal会在39.5%. 长期是超过一年投资套现,税是15%到20%。
对冲基金和私募一般收2%-20%，2%的根据资产规模收，再在盈利部分收20%，在盈利部
分收的，但不是属于自己贡献的那部分钱，而是客户贡献的钱产生盈利的20%，就是
carried interest，这个也是每年的performance income。
很多基金管理公司的盈利是长期投资结果，所以很多基金公司就把carried interest也
当作长期投资盈利，在税法上好像应该只交20%的税，即使这个其实是每年的

打电话过来问我"how is your interview". 交谈后我得知，面我的hiring manager感
觉我不是很interested in that position, 然后说我简历很strong，很容易拿到多家

请问应该如何填退税的表，把这70刀退回来？
是在1040 NR-EZ的哪个地方填？
没有找到专门算interest tax的box。
有一个起关键作用的box，用它减去应该交的税，就得应该退的税。
box 18 federal income tax withheld(from From w-2,1042-s and 1099-R)
说明中没提它包含1099-int表。怎么办？是否应该把那个误扣的利息税加到box 18里呢

在review时要我输入AMT - Mortgage Interest，我就把14k再输到Enter the amount
of the interest total shown above that was paid on an eligible mortgage.
Include any qualified mortgage insurance premiums paid in connection with an
eligible mortgage: 14k 然后return就又加了1k。
