护，老板楞要用ab initio，说是比pl-sql领先40年，易开发，容易documentation.问
题是我做细节设计，所有的query都我来写，然后交给AI程序员用ai实现.其实我设计完
成后，如果用pl-sql,程序开发已经完成了，现在还要几个星期，有问题都来问我，我
不会ai,也不想学。数据源data model比较蠢，不同的东西装在一个table里。
destination schema data model 类似，sql复杂无比，ai 程序员说，same source
and destination table pair之间只能有一个ai graph,建议split destination table
into two.我倒是支持改data model,因为本来就是错误的设计。问题是另外一个不同
的AI ETL JOB也在用这个table, AI程序员说改那个AI ETL JOB需要几个星期，我说不

Now Pople is not at Gaussian company, he is at Qchem company. The two man

研究最早的是二级结构预测，就是给你一个蛋白序列，找出其中的alpha helix, beta strands
和loop区。最早的一些算法出现在上个世纪70年代。基本的idea很简单，从已有晶体结构中统计
helix, strands和loop区氨基酸的出现概率，然后根据这个进行预测。效果一般。后来出现的一些
基于贝叶斯、神经网络等等的算法考虑到了序列前后的相互影响，结果改善很多。现在二级结构预测
的准确度很高，大概80%左右的样子。说起来，二级结构预测可以算是机器学习在生物学中最早的成
功应用之一。也是bioinformatics最早热起来的方向之一。
三级结构预测就困难很多。从方法上大概可以分成三个类别：ab initio, homology modeling和
threading. ab initio预测基于力场，计算蛋白折叠构象的最小能量状态。大家都知道David
Baker是这方面的代表人物。要注意的是，Baker的ab initio预测可不是一个原子一个原子地搭

发帖数: 1704 | 7 结构预测这块不知道你做哪个方向，ab initio还是comparative或者另辟蹊径。
ab initio这块感觉目前基本做不下去了，除了超级大牛BAKER之外其他人或多或少都只
能打酱油，真所谓走自己的路让别人无路可走。而comparative这块想发好文章很难，
另外从近几次CASP结果来看，要想全面超过Yang Zhang的方法显然是非常的不容易，而
他们的文章主要都发在了Proteins/Plos one/Structure这个级别的杂志,
Bioinformatics和NAR这样IF稍高一点的并不很多见，奇怪的很。
当然，做个database或者webserver，然后投到NAR的database/webserver issue也是不
错的选择吧。Bioinformatics和BMC Bioinformatics有时候也收类似的文章。
易程度，一边确定一下接下来奋斗方向，谢谢哈. |

照说本科生得让发考题们认为极其有科研的潜质,才能打败无数硕士生,发考题们才
会直接给本科生offer直攻博士;
看这份简历,我的感觉是
1.本科成绩好,会读书
2.参加了很多国内老师的项目,参加了一些海外老师的暑期短期项目,有些学术锻炼和想
法,但无明显成果,可能人缘好,会来事;但不排除夸大自己作用的可能
3.得了一些奖学金,国内高校基本上成绩好加积极参加学校各项活动,对老师会来事,自
然就能得.
3.英语写的好
4.积极参加各种活动,精力充沛,勤奋,把自己的时间,安排的满满当当的,有废寝忘食的
倾向.
5.非常有计划性和目的性,经过几年奋斗,作为本科学生,已经达到面面聚到的无短板程
度.
作为本科生,这份简历无疑是优秀的;但是却无法直接得出极其有科研的潜质的结论;相
反无数硕士生申请攻博士,由于年龄大一些和工作经历,也许本科成绩绩点低一些,得的
奖学金项目少一些,但是有实践经验,多数还会有1-2篇海外(尽管可能级别和影响不高)

初入计算化学行当，现在有一个势能FUNCTION, f(a,b,c,d,e)，
我们从别的组拿到了f的ab initio数据，是17万行的数据，分别是变换ABCD得来的
我老板的意思是，做个GRIDDING，就相当于做个LIBRARY，
然后从里面内插，或者外插（interpolation, extrapolation）得到我们要的f值。
可是俺比较笨，不知道该怎么做。能请各位前辈指导一下么？我们用fortran，c
也可以。
1，我是先把17万行数据都读入程序先么？这样会不会内存废掉？俺是在ibm系列
的super computer上做，不知道会不会导致内存太大
2，假设我不先读入，而是每个f(a,b,c,d,e)，我都到外部文件里面去查找，
这个怎么实现呢？ 非常感谢关于这个的建议！ 俺编程半白痴，实在不知道怎么实现。
