20个月开始上daycare，到现在一年多了，经常感冒咳嗽之类的。然后就咳嗽得特别厉
害，2岁左右的时候晚上经常咳嗽好几次，每次有10多分钟到半个小时。我家娃咳嗽厉
害的时候就会把吃的东西都吐了。2岁半又感冒咳嗽的时候，儿医说她听到一点点
wheezing，给了breathing treatment,然后再听，说wheezing没有变话。
鉴于我家娃没有asthma的历史，也没有呼吸困难的问题。给了inhaler mask，说咳嗽的
时候可以给用。
到目前为止娃用过3次抗生素。
第一次咳嗽发烧7天不知道原因，给了药就好了。
第二次中耳炎。
3个星期前肺炎，发烧第三天去urgent care,说似乎听到一点点wheezing，给了
breezing treatment，wheezing没反应。说chest congested,怕发展成肺炎，给了抗生
素，说要用inhaler.娃吃了抗生素也没用。发烧第四天去儿医group,见了另一个医生，

treatment了,如果没有nebulizer,有的娃也可以用albuterol inhaler pump connected
with spacer with mask.
Q4-6H as needed for persistent cough, SOB, or wheezing.
如果很严重,给了一次后不管用的话,20分钟后可以再给一次,如果还不管用,直接去ER吧

我们家的娃每次感冒的话，都会咳嗽，感冒好了的话也会咳很久。
大部分时间不厉害，每次感冒大概都回吐一到两次。每次都是睡下没多久咳嗽，
然后就会吐。
我们家有albuterol inhaler pump connected with spacer with mask.
两个小时前已经给娃用过了，好像咳嗽得不那么频繁了半天没听到咳嗽了。
我娃吸了albuterol就会非常high.

，长话短说。
上来update 一下今天进展。昨晚拿到inhaler和mask, 实在不知道怎么操作有效，宝宝
很抗拒，今早保姆来了，说她给她儿子用过steroids, 可以治lung immflamation. 我
就去了同一个医生那里继续talk。今早她态度有所改变。先说，也许不是asthma, 然后
又继续问我家里哮喘过敏史。我继续说没有。她说那就算没有，也是近似asthma 的症
状。 说用inhaler 最好，一是便于携带，二是副作用小。我问能用steroids吗？她说
steroids 副作用大，宝宝用完可能会dizzy, cranky, crazy.
然后我说肺有炎症，她说是的，肯定有，但是因为没有高烧，不用抗生素。就说用
inhaler 一两天内肯定会大有好转。i我说如果不好怎么办？毕竟是快4个星期的咳嗽，

中午在儿医那做了一次inhaler, 儿医说睡觉的时候给她做，每四个小时一次。下午和
保姆一人按着她头手，她哭，一边给她inhaler, 刚才我妈和我同样的把她从睡眠中弄
醒，她哭，我们一人按着，一人给她inhaler. (BTW, 我领导出差中，真的很不巧。）
我妈说一后不要把她弄醒给她做这个，我想也是。让她睡个好觉比什么都好。
晚上吃饭，宝宝很无力的样子，心很酸，边哭边喂她，她刚开始还吃几口，后来可能受
我情绪影响，不吃了。
是因为今天早上我发现西医很多时候跟我的直觉counter intuitive, 而且很多时候对
于灰色地带没有很好的处理方式，所以我从儿医那回来的时候，决定中西结合。
下午让保姆给她喝蜂蜜水，吃梨子，她吃很少。晚饭之前给她了西瓜，她很爱，吃了整
整一碗，然后给她喝了西洋菜冬瓜汤， 为了降火。然后睡前给她喝了清开灵。
这里把清开灵的成分说一下： 胆酸，珍珠母，猪去氧胆酸，栀子，水牛角，板蓝根，
黄今苷，金银花。主治清热解毒，等，上呼吸道感染，急性气管炎等。

说inhaler会影响心脏的医生的，不是对的你。 btw，inhaler到底啥影响，
可以google inhaler side effect/concern。
大半年，如果娃还在咳，那说明你还没有找着对的医生。 儿医自己无法确定，
应该会推荐你去看allergy/astham specialist的吧？如果儿医没有， 你应该
要求儿医给你refer一个。 或者换个别的儿医看看。
但是医生应该要排除有没有慢性鼻炎，就是chronic sinus infection。 这个
比较难判断。我家妹妹，这两年每年到冬天，就咳嗽，主要也是睡觉的时候咳嗽，
每次去看医生，都先排除是不是过敏，比如让用一周的inhaler，看有没有改善
如果没有，才给抗生素，从看第一次到吃到抗生素，得折腾1个月，抗生素吃
两三天，就不怎么咳嗽。
如果不是慢性鼻炎，那就是allergy/asthma了，这个需要allergy test，blood

Power for Inhalation，剂量是每吸50微克/250微克
貌似这两种成分确实就是advair的成分（但是advair我也是第一次听说）
“适应症”说是“本品以联合用药形式（支气管扩张剂和吸入皮质激素），用于可逆性

昨晚宝宝咳了一个晚上，我妈唉声叹气没有睡觉，说宝宝病严重了，要给她吃止咳药。
我没让。然后今早我们继续给她做inhaler, 清开灵。她好象好了很多，然后中午，下
午个poo 了一次，大便很软。然后宝宝早上开始显得很active, playful.
下午带宝宝复查，儿医听了肺，说，哇，真是神速，才两天肺就完全干净了。然后说是
不是用了inhaler, 我说是的，一天用了5次。她说inahler真管用啊。然后我说是的，
不过我们也给喝了中药，中药消炎。她点头，说是，我不倾向用steroid, 其实更倾向
用来自植物的萃取。然后又问我中药的成分，说有没有aloe, 我说没有，那些我都不知
道英文名。然后把金银花翻译成golden silver flowers.. 主治急性气管炎。anyway,
她还是很惊讶宝宝恢复的速度。我也很惊讶，因为宝宝前天还在咳嗽，而且咳了一个晚
上。按她的说法，是咳嗽把痰都咳出来了，然后大便排出去。按我妈的说法，咳嗽只会
越咳越差。当然我妈不是医生，尤其不是西医。

有救急的意思；红色的（我们是fluvent）是日常用的
但是，美国的allergist很喜欢开处方，用药很重。我们开始也是让每天用红色的
同时再用灰色的。但是后来儿医还有朋友说了之后，我再问allergist，他就说，哦
没必要每天用灰色的。
我同事花粉过敏一辈子了，每年春天开始去看allergist，都拿到5，6份prescription
他扔掉其他的，只买一种药，就可以了。
我们现在积攒的没用的prescription估计也有一百张了，每次一说有些咳嗽，就刷刷
得给2，3个药单。
如果红色的inhaler控制不住，你又不想用灰色的，可以考虑allergy shot。我们的
现在红色的inhaler＋每周的allergy shot，基本完全控制，简直是tremendous的变好，
只有冬天会稍微咳一下。 Allergy shot没有激素，没有什么副作用。 你可以咨询
allergist。

发帖数: 384 | 39 俺家娃近来一直咳嗽,白天还好,晚上他经常咳得满床翻滚，坐起来很多次. 看了儿医只
是给了inhaler 和一种吸的药. 以前用过几次inhaler，一次能管3-4个小时. 听说药里
有激素，长时间用不好，OTC 的止咳药对他根本没用. 这两天试了几个朋友推荐了对他
们家娃咳嗽很灵的偏方, 生姜红糖水，蒸橘子，蒸洋葱，萝卜水，俺咋觉得喝完一点用
都没有啊。试过小儿推拿，天天揉好几百下没效果。还有把walgreens的一种薄荷油？
抹脚上，也没啥用. 看来只有给他用inhaler? 我妈让我把他带回国看中医, 可还在上
学期间啊，而且中医治咳嗽是不是真的很灵啊？我这几天晚上弄他醒了好多次，也快坚
持不住了. 一会儿去趟中国城再买些川贝啥的试试，不行的话只有吸药了. |

发帖数: 285 | 40 娃四岁，从小对温度还是其它什么东西敏感，经常冬天早上起来会流鼻涕咳嗽。从两岁
开始上幼儿园起，经常感冒咳嗽，时不时咳嗽吐一床。大概从3岁起到现在（刚刚4岁）
，总共有6-7次出现哮喘症状，每次持续两三天。症状都一样，就是晚上咳嗽不消停，
呼吸有点急促，到了白天明显好转，我们以为好了，接下来的晚上恶化，呼吸困难，心
跳很快，发低烧，第二天赶紧去看医生，去医生那里测血氧比较低90-95%，医生就会给
吸Albuterol, 然后症状得到缓解。在去医院之前一般在家也会给inhaler，但是没有医
生那里的那种装置管用。
上次去看医生，说是过敏引起的，开一堆抗过敏地药。我们没有查过过敏源，没有湿疹
，所以不知道是不是过敏。20天后复发，我昨晚给孩子吃了抗过敏地药，没有任何用处
，昨晚又折腾一夜，呼吸困难，给了albuterol inhaler 稍稍缓解一些。今天去看另一
个医生，说是病毒感染诱发并确定地说是asthma，还让天天用flovent inhaler来预防
。真的要天天用药吗？
我们没有家族史，很不愿意相信孩子得了哮喘，但很担心孩子将来得chronic asthma。

I just heard from a prof that the Nektar (previously Inhale Therapeutic
System) got some serious porblems in their Inhale Insulin Exupera Phase III
clinical trial. so they put more attention to PEGylation product right now.
Also, the efficiency for inhale insulin is pretty lower compared to SC
injection.
