道你在这里纠结米的定义干什么。
米的标准推广是标准委员会推广的，各国派代表参加标准制定，或者之后加入标准委员
会，或者就是默认标准本身。比如美国人不用米制，但是他们对米的长度不会dispute
，在国际交流里面也会进行米和英制的转换等等。所以你说美国人不用米制，但是他们
承认米制作为客观标准，所以举世公认在美国也是建立的。这个论述可以推广到世界各
国，甚至非洲撒哈拉以南地区，实际上那里的前法国殖民地都是米制的。
再谈一下举世公认这个概念，是不是一定要全世界的人100%承认呢。我看这个问题没必
要这么机械化的理解来兜售自己的私货。在金融界有个public informaion的概念可供
借鉴。如果一个公司的关键性消息在未成为public information之前严禁内幕交易。那
么什么叫public information，是不是所有的人都得知道，如果50%先知道，50%后知道
怎么办？真正的法律上能认可的定义是，如果这些信息被通过公开的渠道，比如公司的

1. When your card got approved on 7/9, did you get an email notification?
Did the online status change?
2. When was your card production ordered?
3. When did you card arrive?
For my card, infopass said that it was approved on 7/12, but my online
status is still initial review. The old card will expire on this thursday.

简单总结：
孩子暑假从国内来，原来在国内上二年级 （不过是提前一年上的）。到ChapelHill后
，给孩子报了这里的三年级。上学后，被分回二年级，找校长联系，遭到漠视和冷遇。
个人认为是歧视。问题长达一个半月没有解决，现在急求建议：1.有没有相同的情况，
但结果是上了和国内相应的年级。请告知 2，想投诉校长，去school board还是哪里？
如解决不了，准备找local medium。请给建议。 欢迎转载到其他合适的版块。
详细经过：
四月给孩子报名(在District)，说是年龄不够 （12/2002），要分到二年级，告诉他们
在国内提前上的学，现在已经上了二年级。于是同意秋季给上三年级，到时候需要出示
一下证明材料。
8月份中上学后，发现给分回了二年级。然后立刻找学校的校长联系，麻烦开始了。
8月17号给校长发信，无回信。两天后，因为觉得是很急的事情，就给校长打电话，秘
书说是校长忙，建议留言，说是一定会回。留言。无果。
至9月7号，无回信。给班主任发信。班主任说是给问问。
9月8号，给校长发信。
