，当然是一种浪费。我说“一般情况", 是因为存在可以单个字段上起作用的

从前的电脑太烂了，内存硬盘都很小，所以编译一次只能干有限的事情
所以很多东西都要分成好几次编译
这个多次编译的手续被延续下来了

不要老是什么大牛不大牛的，问的这么谄媚。有什么问题，就说大家讨论一下就是了。
index future最大的好处就是cash settlement。也就是说最后不用delivery什么，直
接按市场价格用现金结算。
这样的好处就是，你想要多少就能有多少，只要有人愿意market maker肯接盘就可以了。
所以index further的liquidity比cash index要高很多。 |

但spx是total return index,要比较也得用totel return比，
所以得有历史market cap数据(主要要记入dividend, rights issue, split...影响)，
还有就是daily closing price.
搞index麻烦的是constituent的进进出出，主要还是历史数据不好找。
Bloomberg, reuters都提供total return price直接下载，这当然不是免费的。。。个
人想做是不容易了 |

，估计实在是太无聊了。晚饭后，老大又在接着研究，我看他难得那么严肃认真地端坐
在小板凳上，就没打搅他。一会儿，老大对我说，妈妈我知道澳大利亚的国旗还包含了
哪个国家的国旗，要选Great Britain。然后给我看他怎么在index里找到 ＂flag，p3
＂，然后翻到p3找到关于flag的介绍，然后找到了答案。我虽然吃惊了一下，但我知道
我儿不是天才，就好奇地问他怎么知道查index的。老大说，他们现在讲non-fiction，
老师讲的，for a long book，if you cannot find things in the table contents
，就可以到index 去找。虽然老大果然不是无师自通的天才，我还是很高兴想他至少上
课认真听讲了，而且还学以致用了。其实人家那question旁边就写着去p3找答案，还亏
得老大绕这么大个圈子才找到。
最后感叹一下，推无聊是很有些道理的。电视和电脑游戏貌似把孩子的时间occupied了

分作者的排序和位置就有很大问题。我知道一个broad institute的bioinformatician,
属于staff岗，朝九晚五上班没压力的那种工作。因为在太多cns文章上挂名，他的h-
index有60以上。
