images in C or java?
I need to include some dynamic images on webpage, java applet kind of solve
the problem but I need to get the real image file in gif or png or jpg format
to get better handling on the image. Thanks a lot! |

some dll to generate an image which has X*Y pixels dimension. Since it only
generate JPEG image with certain quality by X*Y pixel, we have to increase the
width and height so as to have a large, say 2X*2Y sized image, then print it
out to get a better quality. I am not sure if I scaled down the image, if I
lose the quality when printing it out....

some dll to generate an image which has X*Y pixels dimension. Since it only
generate JPEG image with certain quality by X*Y pixel, we have to increase the
width and height so as to have a large, say 2X*2Y sized image, then print it
out to get a better quality. I am not sure if I scaled down the image, if I
lose the quality when printing it out....

Reason 1.
Web servers often need to deal with images intimately. At the minimum, it
needs to read the width and height, and resize the image, while avoiding any
round-trip to the disk. The whole processing time has to be less than a
second for almost all websites.
Reason 2.
Currently, Go has very little dynamic library support. (Basically out of
scope / out of discussion for now.) So, it can't load a "image library" at
runtime on demand.

其实没啥本质的区别，不过natural image一般在rgb空间
medical image也分好多种，内探镜因为受大小限制，分辨率信噪比都很差
x-ray,超声波等得到的其实不是image, 是一些二/三维信号
要想得到其中信息需要研究如何表达这些信号
其实medical image适用的方法一般image可能都能用上 |

发帖数: 552 | 30 本来几乎已经决定做radiation therapy 方向的了，因为知道北美这个方向的职位多些。
但是刚刚看到首页上GE上海招工程师，X-ray 成像方面也在招人，渴望回国的想法一下
占了上风，而且，imaging 或image processing 是我这么多年来一直想做却不曾有机
会做的方向（其实以前对这个方向也不了解，只是看到 present image 的时候很炫，
不像1-D siganl 或数据处理那样枯燥乏味）。
而且最近学了点MRI和CT成像的皮毛觉得确实有意思。
刚才搜了搜，找不到国内这方面需求的具体分析，不知道国内对radiation therapy 还
是imaging的需求大（我不介意去医院还是去公司做研发）。 如果国内imaging 方面需
求也蛮大，就想做这个方向了。
有熟悉这些领域的同学么？多谢了！ |

Ben的文章在于它有很好的合作者。当时我们也shock一下，但是回过头一项，实际可以
做。 不过的有一个fulltime的做半年的imaigng processing。 实际上应用有限。
optical imaging 从临床上来说，设备便宜而且实时。 由于深度问题，内窥视一个重
要解决办法。
至于contrast optical imaigng， animal study 可能应用。 临床不太行。 OCT 的优
点就是 不要contrast ， images look like histology. OCT是目前所有
opticalimaigng 中最有临床价值的。不是忽悠
Embryo imaging with OCT is its imaging speed (3D in real time).
