are open for fall 2012. The successful candidates will join a lab to conduct
biomedical imaging research.
Active projects include the development of data acquisition, image
reconstruction, and image analysis techniques in multimodality imaging
including PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and PET/MRI.
Applicants should have BS or MS degrees in electrical engineering, physics,
medical physics or a closely related field. Relevant experience and skills
in physics, mathematics, modeling, image reconstruction techniques,
instrumentation, computer programming and/or the specific imaging modality,
are desired. Good communication and writing skills and a willingness to work
in a multidisciplinary collaborative environment are expected.
Oakland University is a state-supported research intensive university
located 25 miles north of Detroit, which offers both small town
