朝鲜战争中有中美战史上光荣的一页，那就是长津湖战役。当时，美军分东西两线向中
国边境挺进。其中东线为由ALMOND将军指挥的第十集团军(X CORPS)。其攻击目标是中
朝边境的长津湖区域。该地又称长津水库，是一个将长津江截流形成的人工湖泊，上有
水电站若干。 美军前锋已到鸭绿江边，对着对岸，向江中小便（注一）。
X CORPS司令ALMOND给其师长们的指令是：“Don't let a bunch of Chinese
laundrymen stop you." 在美国排华法案下，美国华人从事的主要职业就是开洗衣店。
而且开洗衣店还被美国当地政府制定歧视性条款加以限制。旧金山市政条例就规定，洗

美国政府准备退出“两房”的计划在中国引起广泛的不安。有经济学家建议中国机构赶
快抛售两房债券，避免遭受巨大损失。但是，美国专家认为，这是一种误读。改革之后
，两房债券不会失去担保。
“两房”是指美国两家有政府控股的抵押贷款巨头--房利美和房地美。这两家公司在金
融危机期间因大量房贷违约陷入严重危机。金融危机之后，政府一直在研究如何对这两
家“大而不能倒的”企业进行改革。
改革的重点是，减弱两房在购房抵押贷款市场中所占据的主导作用，政府也需要退出两
房的业务，逐步对两房实行私有化。有消息说，白宫制定的有关两房改革方案将在最近
