偶不是啥牛人就是一个失败的分子生物学博士工作了4-5年后, 开始用数学生物工程学
方法探讨分子生物学中搞不定的一个或二个课题 (Ps: 大三时候物化薛定鳄方程学的不
错 score 92/100 非天朝的大学)
也可以说是避(in vivo实验)就虚(数学生物工程学模型)吧
以上偶的回贴大多不针对搞实的生物学的PD.
其实在美国大都在数学系或统计物理系的Faculty里有的人搞了很久

父亲虽也算是名牌大学毕业，又留洋镀过金，但总端不起正统科学家的架子。他属于那种靠小聪明，脑门一拍主意就来了，很另类很浪漫的一族。
那时国内正闹“三年自然灾害”，北京虽没饿死多少人，但大家普遍衣衫不整面有菜色，许多还得了浮肿病。归来的母亲在国人面前也就格外显得衣着光鲜脸色红润。记得当时父亲有诗曰“去年春节不够好，三年天灾收成少，孩子和爸分饭吃，妈在国外不知道。”下阕云“今年春节真正好，喝酒看戏放鞭炮，又有鱼来又有肉，妈回来了更热闹。”这首歪诗让父亲在文革中挨了批，但确实是当时的景象。诗中“去年”和“今年”应指１９６０年和１９６１年

一句话： 要确定某个表达蛋白(A物种) 的真正的5' UTR 范围碱基序列
最好将其包括启动子部分的碱基序列转接到一个非启动子功能的载体
然后转染到异种(B物种: 可以是A物种的近缘) 的Cell line 表达那个目标蛋白
再提取那个表达后的目标蛋白
如果后者同In vivo (A物种) 的生化物理性质完全一致,
那么其包括启动子部分的碱基序列 就是真正的5' UTR 范围碱基序列

大脑的神经传导物质5-羟色胺（5-hydroxytryptamine，5HT）是个很关键的东西，
经常用来做anti-depressed药物，所以一般抑郁症患者会缺乏5HT
然后，万恶的科学家（饶毅）就把合成5HT的酶从小鼠的基因里敲出了。这个可怜
的小鼠就变gay鸟！！同时对待female和male，它对female视而不见，坚定的跟在
male后面跑，还英勇的冲上去爆菊了！！（原文还有个video，，，看的姐都羞涩
了。。。）
然后，万恶的科学家又给直接向大脑里注射了5-HT，这可怜的小鼠又被掰直了！！
！又放弃男鼠追着女鼠跑了！！！还有英勇的去mate了！！
（矮油这个居然也有video。。。。太不和谐鸟！！！
至此说明5HT对sexual preference至少对male mice性取向起了很大的作用！！！

发帖数: 63 | 50 boston 2013 年 10 月换的， 全包 花乐 $11,943。 煤气公司给了 2500 rebate 和
六年无息贷款。
去年到现在 五个多月花了 $720 煤气费 2700 sqt的房子，不过我的房子isolution很
好。庆幸换的及时，一共下了7-8场雪。contract 给了两个报价，主要是boiler 不同。
还有了解一下当地煤气公司有什么优惠。
