家里老人只有一方愿意出来帮忙(从坐月子开始,一直都是我父母出来帮忙)。他的父
母“据说”年老了不能出来,但是却在国内帮忙快40岁的大女儿做了一切家务。
我父母在的时候,我老公一点点家务都不需要做,除了周末开车带老人去买菜,因为我
要在家看着孩子。
我俩目前收入差不多,当然我只是个没前途的小职员,他是有前途的postdoc。
我父母呆半年就要回国半年。本来我觉得他应该分担一点家务。
但是上周末摊牌说,男人不应该做婆婆妈妈的琐碎的家务,但是可以做抬水换灯泡,修
电脑等我不能干的活。
请钟点工,送小孩回国半年,或者离婚这些都有讨论过了,请大家不需要再讨论了。
我就是想请教一下在美国中国人的家庭的家务模式都是大概怎么分配的。
当然我父母上一辈都是双职工,但是女方做了绝大多数的家务的,所以我父母和他父母

My parents-in-law won't accept if I do part-time, or stop working. I think
one major reason they don't want us to divorce is because I have relatively
high income. My job is very demanding. Frankly, I can barely do any
housework with my current job. I spent all my time after work to be with my
son to assure enough bonding, and it is still not enough. Taking care my son

——而从这种unpaid劳动中篡取利益的,正是父权体制中的男性。

象征价值,以榨取女性劳动价值的意识形态机制。
