以西的小学中学确实比较差，以77079的房价，对老中确实尴尬，不如直接去katy；不
过学区差的主要原因是memorial drive上面有很多apartment，目前很多正在拆除改造
成luxury apt。以后那片学区如何发展，未知。但是以东的学区，小学、初中（
memorial middle)都是10分， strafford高中8分（again,因为kirkwood以西有太多apt
kids)以整个休斯顿市区来看，这样的学区绝对不差。
说房价的话， 你看过去二十年HAR的数据，77079的大部分subdivision没有跌过，和
77024一样。 如果说抗跌性， 我看比现在热炒的heights/montrose好多了。另外
chevron刚在katy 买了100acre造campus，休斯顿西区只会越来越吃香。77079/77024的
middle of everywhere的地理优势会越来越明显。
现在， 77079、77024的房子现在都是hotcake，一上市没有硬伤，基本过个周末就
pending。
