关于Milgram以及他的这个实验最近刚出了一本传记，书名叫：
The Man Who Shocked the World: The Life and Legacy of Stanley Milgram
此外，APA的ethic code以及IRB的规定可不是因为这一个实验才弄出来的，50-70年代是
所谓社会心理学的黄金时代，什么样的实验都有，想象力贼丰富，搞多了搞出事，才有了
后来的种种规定。 |

10/30/17 update:
刚才在我个人邮箱发现一封邮件，HR发过来的termination letter，说是因为
我不签那个offer。
然而那个offer是18年1月才生效，上面还注明我原来的offer会在今年年底12月31号终
结，从来也没说立刻终止啊。上周五我解释了我不签的原因以后，HR的回复说不签会被
视为constructive resign， will lead to termination accordingly。根本没提立即
termination。再说也不能因为不签明年的offer就立马终止今年的employment啊，
contractor都没有这样的。我算见识了什么叫low了。

美国解决这个特殊问题的唯一办法,就是引进更多的其他吃福利的民族,
增加hopeless的福利族人口和比例,通过选票达到对上班族的剥削,

谷的初创公司至少15％的公司foudners里面有老印,还借用ＴＩＥ老印头目的玩笑话说
，现在在硅谷，初创公司如果founding团队里面没有老印，倒是募不到款了，还有，报
道说硅谷几乎所有ＶＣ的主要partners里面，至少都有一位老印。
在这样的无数多的数不清的话题之后，居然中国要投资3０００亿去给印度搞基建，真
以为是当年法国人在云南修铁路，俄国人在东北修铁路的干活，能控制路权吗？就中国
那点贪官无能草包傻博弈们的卖国无能肮脏道德，当苦力还要被人防范的低价修路，

确实是才华横溢的。不仅从写作技巧，还是思考的独特性，都是普通人比不上的。
不过看过这篇作文后，我觉得她有可能是自杀。对life/death思考得过多的人，更加会
把death作为一个可选。其他普通人就是普通的怕死，平时连死这个字眼，都不会想到
。她在第一段里写到“I remember one day, when I felt so frustrated by those
misfortunes in life, it seemed that I had done everything wrong and there
was no remedy at all. I left home, wandering along the street, feeling sad
and hopeless.” 最后她死在野山坡，会不会就是因为她又一次
feel sad and hopeless. 所以选择了脱队，自己一个人去面对死亡了。
要不然她会同意让同学们等她一下，办完她的事一起下山。而且，她是要一个人办什么
事呢？ |

长话短说吧，我前一阵子在National租了一个月的车，当时用了学校的Contract ID，免
了LDW和CDW，当时还加了两个authorized driver，姑且称之为B和C（我是A）。租车的
时候用的是第四个人，也就是D的信用卡，国内的招行卡，没有附带租车保险。
本来租一个月一直平平安安的，结果最后一天还车路上，出事儿了。当时是B开车，结
果撞到了路边，整个车头凹下去一块儿，前脸基本上都塌了，然后车牌子也掉了。然后
当时在National claim了保险，结果是不管authorized还是renter出的事故，都是
claim在renter名下的。这个我认了。因为Contract ID里面含了LDW和CDW，所以当时觉
得这事儿也就这么过去了。
National car rental 有和各个公司的合作协议。每家公司对应一个Contract ID，类似
