问了好几个“专家”，总说纷纭啊，到底能不能收这个钱？
事情是这样，身份是OPF,期间帮DOE审了几个proposal,就给我寄了支票，最近还受到了
1099-Misc,里面把这个幸苦费作为nonemployee compensation. 现在要保税，搞的焦头
烂额，早知道这么麻烦，就不要这几个破钱了，日！ |

possible: they may just cover your travel expenses or they may just give you
a flat honorarium
i would only talk for free if it's really close or if i'm there already. |

form, if it pays you $600 or more as a non-employee.
If the publisher does not ask for your SSN, I wouldn't worry about it. If
it does, I am not sure. I don't think H1B visa holders are legally
permitted to receive honorarium payments. |
