Regional Finalists)入围名单。在101名入围者中，华裔学生48人，所占比率接近五成

这种机器叫sharpener。机器的好处是准确，磨刀的质量相对较高，而且速度快。但
是尽管如此用机器也需要经验，特别是手要稳。一般nhl球队都是由equipment
manager来给队员磨刀的。
对于专业队员来说他们很多都明确的知道自己的ROH多大。这首先是个人习惯问题，
因为不同的人对于冰刀的要求不一样，其次量化的意义在于磨刀的时候ROH是一个需
要在机器上设置的参数，这对于手工磨刀来说就很难做到准确了。
机器很大，但是最重要的部分其实就是一个水平放置的砂轮，从截面上看，砂轮的边
缘是弧线，这个弧线最后就是冰刀的hollow的那个弧线。砂轮固定水平旋转，水平放
置的刀在砂轮上从头到尾的磨刀就是sharpener的工作原理。
但是磨刀前要要先设置sharpener，其实就是设置这个ROH。砂轮的外面有一个可以转
动的架子，架子是以砂轮所在的平面为轴沿砂轮边缘所在的弧线转动。架子上有一个
diamond的刀头，当架子调好所需的ROH后就可以沿砂轮边缘转动来把砂轮磨成所需的
