这个面试机会来得算是容易， 一个猎头给找的，当时没觉得有希望，因为基本上所有
人都告诉我 药厂统计师必须是博士 。当时正在休产假，连简历都没改就发了。没想到
通过了电话面试。电话面试也不容易，问了很多问题。 被问到最近做了什么
simulation的project， 我想不出来，但是赶紧说我读书时在statistical computing
课上拿的是A， 那门课有一半的学生是dropped。这应该有所帮助。
去药厂onsite时，第一个活动是吃午饭，陪我的哥们告诉我要准备回答有关临床实验
设计的问题。在学校机会也不多，我也就设计了那么几个有限的实验，都是early
phase， 方法也是传统的， 什么3＋3（我也懂CRM）， 什么Simon’s two stage。有
时也用老板paper里的方法。有一个临床实验我确实是起了一个重要的作用，因为我的
老板开始建议的设计貌似合理，其实是有问题的，辛亏我不盲信老板，好好思考，发现

你相信了他们的话，那你就是一个傻瓜。
我之所以这么说，并不是由于我认为雷曼兄弟式的破产近在咫尺，尽管与现在很多人相
比，我确实没有他们乐观。我之所以说我们不应该相信华尔街是因为：就在五年前雷曼
兄弟宣布破产前，华尔街也对我们说过不必担心的话。
雷曼兄弟是在2008年9月15日申请破产保护的。这继而引发了整个金融系统的近乎崩溃
：美国股市迅即进入了历史上堪称惨烈的两个月。
如果说华尔街的大佬们应该在某个时刻就即将到来的灾难向我们发出警告的话，那个时
候是再合适不过了。
但是，通过回顾在金融风暴来临前的关键几周中我所追踪的数百名投资顾问的言论，我
发现事实并非如此。他们那时候即便算不上是彻头彻尾的乐观，至少也是显得非常志得
意满，除了极少的几个例外情况之外。

一位老人来美探亲，本来预定几天后回国，没想到一心想临回国为儿女多做点好菜的老
人，去惠康购物出来，在幸福新村后门附近被撞，肇事者逃逸，而老人伤重不治，家属

出事时间是5月27日周日下午3点一刻左右，希望有目击者提供肇事者信息。
目前认为有可能一辆灰色camry，如果有人看到可疑车辆希望也能告知！希望能严惩肇
事者！

即使不能提供车号，哪怕您看到疑似车辆走过哪条街，或者拐进哪个小区，都能有助于
找到肇事者。
哪怕知道肇事车往哪里逃窜也可以的

As noted by Hochberg and Tamhane (1987), "If these inferences are unrelated
in terms of their content or intended use (although they may be
