不冻上就好。盖三床大被子，下面垫上电热毯，晚上起夜不下床用夜壶。白天在家穿羽
绒服，靠运动取暖，又健康又省utility。
记得以前国内的水表如果只是滴水的话水表不会动，美国的水表不知道是不是也这样，
如果这样，也可以浴缸里面常年滴水，冲厕所洗脸做饭都用这滴出来的水。冬天就不用
开冰箱了，食物放室外就是天然冰箱，又省若干若干电费。 |

There could be 3 places you need to look,
1. at the bottom of the tank there is a drain valve (can be plastic or metal
), this can be left open if house is empty for long time and winterized.
2. at the top the tank there is a safty valve, which should only open if
temp or pressure exceed safety level, it is on a spring, make sure it is
not stuck open.
3. This may not exist on every water heater, but you will see a expansion
tank or tube that is connected to the drain, this is used t |

现两个AC都不work，还有楼下的heater也不work。已经让卖方去修了。他们口头答应会
修，但是还没有给我书面的文件。这样的房子，即便修了还会有问题吗。
本人全家都是怕热的人，如果搬进去空调不好，会被老婆和老妈骂死的。所以不得不谨
慎呀。
还有，卖方中介今天直接打电话过来，要求我尽快的进行下一步的工作---银行的
appraisal。他跟我说从order appraisal到最后拿到结果要两周。是不是这样？
周日房子检查出问题后，已经通知loan agent pend all activities. 我们的计划是卖
家不修的话，就walk away.
请大家不吝赐教，多多指点！

用油改成用gas，以前我买房时agent说大概5千多，不过前两天有个说oil heating的帖
子，有人回说要8千 |
