搞过的同志们给说说，这玩意儿怎搞？
是在网上上40小时的课，接着通过一个考试，然后拿证书吗？
如果按快进，30小时上完了他家的课，还是能拿到证书的吧？

mean OSHA HAZWOPER 40 HR training. |

通常都是说Highly desirable but not required.

发帖数: 1465 | 7 也许是当局者迷。给过别人很多建议，轮到自己却越来越想不清楚。所以请大家帮忙看
看吧。
背景
大学毕业以后参加了新加坡和斯坦福合办的环境硕士项目，然后在新加坡某研究所工作
一年做一个研究项目的GIS support. 几乎不涉及编程，主要是GIS软件的应用，整合编
辑数据什么的。之后来美国读PhD，做大气污染物的人体暴露模拟。具体做的事情主要
是建模和数据处理，稍微用到点统计方面的知识。也用过常见的大气模型，不过要说编
程开发就不在行了。因为不用做实验加上老板催得紧，三年下来参加了五个会议，发了
一篇期刊论文，投了一篇正在第二轮修改，另外还有两篇估计半年内会投出去。还算
productive. （更加productive的是还趁机生了个小孩，汗）估计今年8月份能毕业。
环境
学校地处北卡三角区，EPA第二大的campus就在附近，附带也有一批做大气相关的环境
咨询公司。还算是不错的地理位置。博士导师在业内还算有点名气，是Air & Waste
Management Association的fellow, 还做过Society of Risk Analysis的President.
