remediation to climate change and renewable energy.

poised for growth in their consulting and engineering arenas.
Their flat organizational structure enables them to hire some of the top
scientists, engineers and environmental management in the industry.
Job Description: This Senior Engineer would be responsible for all
leadership duties related to the full spectrum of technical and client
management. This self sufficient professional will be given the freedom
to pursue business opportunities where they exist with an infrastructure
to support them. If necessary, this person can work remotely in the
greater DC area, although northeastern VA is the preferred location.
The incumbent in this position must be a Senior Engineer who is seasoned
with:
- a substantial knowledge of environmental laws and regulations such as
CERCLA, RCRA, CWA and other regulatory requirements.
- a strong expertise of RI / FS, RD / RA, with related studies under
CERCLA and RCRA; project management, data assessment and report
preparation.
- a proven track record of client interaction, innovative thinking and
successful project completion. Management of the business cycle and
history of business relationships is also preferred
- a proven experience with budgets, scheduling, cost containment,
profitability and coordination of sub-contractors, inspectors etc..
- an entrepreneurial spirit with a strong business sense who can manage,
mentor and review technical work by others.
Requirements: This candidate must possess a BS / MS in Civil
Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline. A
minimum of 10 years experience managing large and diverse projects in
Environmental Consulting with a strong business acumen.
A PE is required. Current HAZWOPER, DOT and other related
environmental certifications is preferred. |
