park at briarcliff比较老了，环境一般，很多中国人住。不过你要是多100预算我觉
得选longwoods更好，环境好很多，开车距离都差不多
harwood环境也不错，而且到学校时步行范围。750差不多够harwood的studio了，
studio你一个人住肯定够了。就是studio厨房和睡房没分隔，而且是窗式空调，比较吵
，看你能不能忍受了
房子这个东西我觉得还是要自己看的，我来之前听人家说看照片都没觉得差太多，但是去朋友家几次各个房子看一下，马上就有分晓了 |

harwood啊，hottub赞，最赞是有个kitchen island，很漂亮。而且不贵，比一般的贵
不了多少。
房子格局很怪，基本两套房子，比较seperate了，左面有自己的厨房，living room，
dining和master，说是给in-law住的。

这个过程是最纠结的，尤其是面对着成千上万的材料，我自诩没有选择恐惧症的人都觉
得头大。这个时候就是紧扣喜欢的色调和设计风格还有预算来选择。细节实在太多，不
能一一回忆就写几个关键的吧。
油漆是在Homedepot买的，油漆主要分flat，eggshell，satin，semi-gloss，gloss等
，水汽重和high traffic的地方用eggshell，天花板用falt，moulding和门框用semi-
gloss。
把hardwood拆掉了，换成了laminate。我知道Harwood各种高大上，可是材料本身贵，
安装也贵，保养起来麻烦，如果家里有宠物，很容易就留下划痕。Contractor通常会按
面积收removal & haul away fee。Hardwood如果是glue-down的拆起来最贵，其次是
nail-down，最后是float。
Laminate也有很多种类，确保买的是12mm厚的，distressed laminate其实就很漂亮了
，而且也比较耐磨。跟Laminate 配套使用Molding我采用的是5”厚的，看起来比较大

打算 6/25 走Baldy 11-Peaks。
难度： 以标准 Echo Mountain （终点是Hotel废墟）为1.0，以Mt.Baldy登顶为5.0（
最高），则此次hiking难度约相当于10. 因为这个难度关系， 参加者只限制一起
爬过山， 或认识的人。
基本线路简介：
早上5点从Ice House Canyon trailhead 集合出发， 走½ mile之后往南切， 走
Falling Fall Canyon (x-country) 到第一个峰Sugarloaf Peak （#1）， 上到山脊线
到Ontario Peak （#2）， 再到Big Horn Peak （#3）。 从Big Horn Peak cross country SE ridge 连接 trail 到 Cumcamonga Peak （#4）， 然后沿着山脊走到
Etiwanda （#5）。 走回Ice House Saddle 接3 T trail 走 Timber （#6），
