LD has so many titles because there are so many tournaments around nowadays.
His predecesors like TXH, ZJH and YY were not so fortunate. If you meant
the number of titles when you said 前五古人, I agree. But I tend to think
those players were more gifted than LD. Anyway, 后无来者is very questionable
statement. Who knows?

Nadal's wins over Federer before Ferderer got sick in 08 were on clay. On
hardcourt or grass, Ferdere still had the edge.

Those who have defended him say that Lin has an extremely rare arsenal of
moves—the byproduct of posture, bent knees and peculiar fundamentals. And
while being a dribbling expert sounds as exciting as being a chef who
specializes in porridge, Lin has made it a devastating art. Knicks guard
Iman Shumpert, who first guarded Lin during lockout exhibition games and now
does in practice, said his possessions play out like this: When he's close
to the basket, he starts an "in-and-out" dribble with his...

Agassi beats Sampras to win Mercedes-Benz Cup
July 29, 2001
LOS ANGELES (TICKER) -- Andre Agassi overwhelmed archrival Pete Sampras, 6-4, 6-2, on Sunday to capture the Mercedes-Benz Cup for the second time in four years and solidify his standing as tennis' premier hardcourt player.
Agassi won 10 of the last 12 games to record his first career three-game winning streak against his foe. He defeated Sampras for the second time this year after beating him in straight sets in the final of the Tennis

haha, zan.
Rafa's dominant on clay is not because of the top spin, but the coverage,
consistency and the super strong mental strength.
His top spin on hardcourt is attacked by people out of top 10 all the time...
Of course, top spin is harder to deal with for sure, but FF and ND 's
example i s not a good supportive case.

the greatest of all time have a overall career lose record against one of
his current peers, and it's not like they didn't play enough games against
each other either, and it is a pretty huge gap...
overall: 15:6
Clay: 10:2
Hardcourt: 3:3
Grass: 1:2
Not that I'm disputing the GOAT's greatness, just playing devils advocate
here... hehehe

simply because nadal has not played djok that many times on hardcourt and
did not have enough good memories.
but on the other hand vs fed, nadal has reasons to be confident

Can you read the post more carefully? I said "for instance", i.e., just use
grass court as an example, since Fed also has 7 at Wimb, ths same no. as
Nadal has at Frech. I didn't say that's the worse case scenario.I have
considered the hard court case, otherwise it would be at least No4.
WTF is Indoor, not hard court, since there are 4 categories: hard, clay,
grass and indoor.
So Fed would have 8 GS, at least 4 WTF (I remember 2003, and 2004 version
seems on outdoor clay or hardcourt?). 7 MS (he ...

Federer played Nadal for the first time in 2004 Miami and he lost. He was
THE player to beat at that time. First time playing against a young player
is always tricky, the young gun got nothing loose. This could also apply the
same as Nadal "had difficult (time) to beat Rosol/Kyrgios from the (very)
first time they played".
It's true that Federer came back with 2 sets down to beat Nadal in 2005
Miami Final, then lost in Dubai in 3 in 2006. But the statement "Federer was

(I'm sure many will disagree).

There are 1.3 billion of them, but Westerners don't really know much about the
citizens of the Middle Kingdom. For decades, China has existed in the
international eye as either a megalomaniacal dictator (Chairman Mao) or a

hyperkinetic kung fu star or a nerdy computer whiz to r
