1.基督道成肉身，使人领受神，人的魂和身体获得神的生命
如前曾述，爱氏使用了「借祂所取之属人性情的那个经纶」来描述基督的道成肉身，使
得道成为恩典的「分赐者」。在这个基础上，爱氏如此描述基督为我们成为肉身的目的：
因为祂也「成为罪之肉身的样式」以定罪罪…祂呼召人进入祂的样式之中，使人成为神
的效法者（imitator of God），并把父的律放在他的里面，好叫他能够看见神，并赐
给他领受父的能力；［作为］住在人里面之神的道，成为人的儿子，好叫祂能够让人习
惯于领受神，根据父良善的旨意，神住在人里面。
对于爱氏而言，「神住在人里面」 的「神」就是保惠师，就是圣灵；祂使得信徒得以
与神联合为一。爱氏认为，除非我们已与不朽坏（incorruptibility）和不死（
