Set hook这个问题问的好。我特地和老船长讨论了这个问题。我们用7/0 semi circle
hook。上了鱼开始出线时，不要动，等鱼停下来，大力set 几次。用小点的semi
circle hook，set hook基本不会把钩拉出，一般都钩在嘴角。如果被鱼吞下，会gut
hook，而circle hook一般不会。commercial giant fishing喜欢gut hook，大大减少
fight时间。（这个可能不太受欢迎，板上很多同学是pure gamefishing。

shop stringer recommended for it me. The string feels good to me and it
lasts me about 10 to 15 hours, since I don't hit very hard. 17 gauge feels a
little better than the 16, 18 just breaks too fast. My question is, are
there any strings out there that feel like the Prince Syn Gut but last
longer while maintaining the tension?

pro-wrist style player. Sync gut is the best choice for you unless you want
natural guts.
Using poly is not for its durability, it is the control. Nylon is much
better for its durability. |

打断了之后偶去换了一个Head FXP power syn gut string，基本上是天壤之
别。
另外在两个oversize拍子上缠的都是最大路货的Prince Duraflex syn gut，
感觉也还不错。
唯一的问题是两款都容易起丝，感觉随时都会断。而agi给偶的那个string
就不起丝，偶就可以更大胆的去打。。。 |

以前也用纯prince synthetic gut，手感也不错，缺点也是不耐用，2周就断。 |

Poly线由于硬，低速下弹性比gut好。所以当你无法跑到位时，靠手腕的
squash shot往往可以把球硬生生弹回去（虽然很容易出浅）。如果用gut
的话往往过网就很困难。
建议版上其他手腕派们也都去上poly线。 |
