总被老板打击，
“你发的文章idea都是来自我的，没有我，这些文章都发不了” （这个我承认，idea
很简单，可做起实验来要找个work的data set需要很多grinding）
“让你作的事情这么简单，就是把我的idea实现变成代码，这找个本科生就可以实现，
如果你连这个都作不好，我还要PHD学生干嘛” （事实是组里所有phd都被他这样blame
，刚来的时候都开开心心，现在都郁闷了）
我们组绝对是系里面最用功的，可是最后结果并不怎么好。
他最早的5个学生被他开了3个，毕业了一个找的工作还不错，可是也没靠他的帮忙（老
板在工业界没什么联系）
这样的处境，该怎么grind下去。。。 |

发帖数: 1313 | 11 你看看刹车液少了没有？最近有没有收到Honda的通知，这个刹车问题Recall了。
刹车有个塑料部件，如果用非Honda的刹车液，会被腐蚀破裂，漏刹车液。
如果你Recall过了还有这个声音，有可能就是刹车盘上的潮气生锈了，下完雪没有清理
干净就开进车库了。

发帖数: 464 | 13 98年的老车，刚开始的时候是在local某些弯道上发出rattling/grinding的声音，听起
来是在司机这一侧。行驶一段时间后，那种声音就没了。后来发展到时速60 miles后，
就一直这种声音，很烦人。去了常去的修车铺，说是brake rotors要换了。我当时觉得
很疑惑，每次这个声音出现时我根本就没有踩刹车，而且我的刹车还蛮好使的呀。也告
诉车铺老板了，但是老板很肯定，于是就换了前面的brake rotors and pads。可是昨
天拿到车，刚上高速，那声音又出现了。
有经验的同学/师傅们，你们给会诊一些吧。还有，新换了brake pads/rotors，我怎么觉得和
换之前的刹车没区别呀。谢谢大家。 |

石头的附件把切开的钢条打磨平滑的。
Sanding 似乎是用Sand Paper，应用对象应该是木头之类比较软的东西。 |

with Elio. The inclusion of tree stump grinding was repeatedly mentioned
during the scheduling (they have to rent equipment for stump grinding). In
fact, Elios called us specifically to confirm stump grinding the day before

发帖数: 152 | 39 修樹看是哪種樹，樹長到15呎前，大約一年兩次，幫它定型，以後，大約1~2年一次。
砍樹要看樹幹大小及高度，如果要grind，看樹根的延伸範圍，不管砍或修時，工人都
會先剪掉小樹枝，這樣才會知道要砍哪裡。
我家前前後後曾經砍過近十顆的樹，砍樹沒有公定價，看情況，可以跟他還價，或者讓
他打折幫你grind tree root。你可以跟他說，你要比價後，在跟他聯絡，大部份的情
況，他們都會自動給你打折。
如果要省錢不grind stump，可以事後自己鑽洞，用Tordon RTU Cut Stump Killer或是
類似的產品處理，大概幾星期後，木頭就會開始腐爛，再等個半年，用十字鎬砍一砍，
如果已經爛了，才可以開始翻土種新樹。 |

Grind是动词意为磨碎。所谓的ground beef里面的ground是grind的
被动形式，也就是被grind了的beef。Ground本身做动词时候没有磨碎的
意思，grounder并无磨碎机的意思 |

版上有前辈介绍pick up洋妞的经验，在下也分享一下自己在酒吧
舞厅找ONS的一些体会给兄弟们。
跟大多数在美国的单身WSN一样，本人在学校的几年很是郁闷。年
纪轻轻，力比多无处发泄。有点姿色的单身女F1周围一堆人在追求，
不想去凑热闹；剩下的自己又没有性趣。中间倒是碰到几个洋妞不
错，人家好像也有意思，但不知如何下手，只好咽口水。还给自己
找借口：要抓紧时间搞research。大家都问问自己，上网搞deal，
down毛片浪费了多少时间？
一晃几年过去，答辩完了，但离上班还有两个月时间，有点无所事
事。于是就开始了泡吧。学校周围有好几个带舞厅的吧，放hip-hop,
reggae类节奏感强的音乐，人气很旺。Cover（门票）一般三五块，
有学生证还减免，啤酒一小瓶三块左右。跳的舞其实简单，就是一堆
人随节奏扭来晃去，不过跳好了还是要练。这方面黑人很强，跳舞自

去年年底用的他，包括砍树和stump grinding.
约之前反复说过是要grind stump的，来的前一天他们自己还打电话来confirm他们需要
去租stump grinder。
当天来了砍得还挺快，但是说忘租grinder了只收砍树的钱，下次再来grind stump。问
什么时候来，说一星期之内。（当时觉得人家小本经营，估计需要把几个stump job和
在一天来省钱，可以理解）
生气的在这里，从此之后就玩失踪，不接电话，不回留言。过了一个多月居然一点消息
也没有。冬天要来了，地冻上就没办法了。
于是开始天天留言，逼的他终于接了一次电话。说不能替你一个stump出工，会亏钱.
基本上就是承认了当时说会再来就是骗你的,但不肯负责任。(缺德的是早不说,给你拖
着.省钱经营可以理解,完全不负责任不能原谅)
紧急找了其他的人,差点就误了后续的事.

100%推荐，这把刀实在找不出缺点，而且有极强的卖点。别看Lynn Thompson五大三粗
的，设计的这刀确是非常优美。
刀身超薄，只有0.35“，闭合长度5”，和iPhone6差不多
真的是太薄了，适合随身携带不引起别人注意，拿在手里有充分的握实感，没有hot
spot。
展开之后非常漂亮，刀片镜面抛光处理，从上1/3开始强烈的hollow grind（我个人偏
好hollow grind和full flat grind），延伸到刀锋开刃角度很小，照片都可以看得出
来，估计顶多20度。结果可以想象，就是raaaaaaaaazor sharp. 推纸像雪片飘落。
