Denial，Anger，Bargaining，Depression，最后的Acceptance。当初的窝火已经渐渐
的变成了一种Mild amusement。回顾一下Kindle被抢的经历，也顺便回顾一番我的电子
书历程：
我看电子书倒不是从Kindle开始的。很久以前，流行的便携设备不是手机，而是Palm
PDA。最初的屏幕是单色的，绿底黑字，跟计算器一样，没有主动光源，对比度很差，
用来看书其实是是很差的选择，眼睛容易疲劳。后来，更新的型号才有了类似笔记本电
脑一样的彩屏，对比度提高了，作为电子书才更理想。
当时在网上有很多人给Palm写应用程序，就像是现在给苹果写App一眼，但是Palm没有
苹果那样审查制度，什么人都可以写Palm程序，而且随便就可以上传下载，不需要苹果
这样的Big Brother一样的审查。
我用过的最早的电子书阅读程序是Palm上面的AportisDoc，使用一种称作PalmDoc格式
的电子书格式。电子书都是自己手工制作的，下载一个制作Doc格式的工具，然后把书

一如继往地迟到，爬到办公室。打开邮箱发现一个grant被否定了。甜蜜的鬼子学生做
了张贺卡，上面写了一堆知音体文字，包括"...and you begin to accept your
defeats with your head up and your eyes open, with the grace of a woman, not
the grief of a child...."什么之类。
结尾落名却是＂Borges＂。Borges怎么可能写这种知音体文字呢？是名言网站弄错了，
还是这姑娘爱屋及乌地偷了＂Borges＂的名字上去，我也不知道。
很不甘心地重新看了看那个被否定了的grant，觉得确实写得不够好，有漏洞，语言也
太浮。我怎么当初就那么轻易地交了上去的？是流逝了的时间还是失败让我陡然犀利起
来了？
昨天一个数学系的人和我说学数学的人有一个永恒的矛盾，就是一方面追求人与人之间
的联系，一方面又把孤独当成最珍贵的事情。
我说其实每个人都是这样的。他眨了眨眼，不相信。
好吧。

二段首句sweeping up the heart 用 “把心扫净” 似乎没有表达出作者的本意。
我觉得作者本想说的是爱人刚死，活着的人一般会broken heart，而sweeping up 就是
针对那碎了一地的心来说的，不是扫干净，而是清扫后归拢整理，并把一起碎掉的爱永
远搁置起来。 |

美女十三姨，雄壮的片头曲，和精彩的打斗场面。现在再看，觉得徐克在短短两小时之
内安插各个社会阶层代表的能力实在是强。
甲午之前，“中国是宇宙中心”是当权者和屁民共同的mentality。马关条约对所有人
都是重大的shock。面对这种挫折，按照现代心理学的分析，有five stages of grief,
分别被五类人代表了。
Denial:死要面子不承认已落后的满清政府。
Anger: 白莲教等由种族主义者组成的邪教组织，类似今天的KKK。
Bargaining：李鸿章等改革派，认为洋人的技术可以学习，但是封建基础不可动摇。
