母亲节快到了，突然觉得该写点什么。
感觉自己不是一个很好的妈妈，虽然也关心女儿的衣食住行，读书跳舞甚至情
感经历，但并没有成为真正意义上的朋友，有时会拿出家长的大帽子来压人。
原来母亲节写过一篇纪念自己母亲的文章，不过在母女关系上自己的母亲也不太成功，
少女时和女朋友逛街回来晚了一点，知识女性的母亲等在大门口，一个巴掌被女朋友现
在还记得清清楚楚，说我是为了她挨的。也不能太怪母亲，在外地工作的她一年一次来
上海看和哥哥独住的我们，她怕我们学坏。。。。。
那么再聊聊自己认识的几个妈妈。
上次写闺蜜的女儿失恋，其实她女儿并不是那么快就走出来的，闺蜜给我看了她们长长
的通信记录，她从一个朋友的角度帮女儿去分析如何去原谅提出要分手的小男友，让她
女儿和男友都能成为各自生命中的贵人而不是仇人；让女儿对失恋后的自身价值有个客
观的分析，告诉她女儿她的价值并不因为男朋友的取舍而浮动，我觉得闺蜜是一个真的
好妈妈。
还有一个可爱的年轻妈妈。在YMCA 上水上运动课，一个年轻的妈妈原来有个一岁多的

看看你们去过几个？
排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。说最近有一个Duchamp
and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

你要是三黑的水准，觉得Boyne不够刺激，北密UP有个号称全美最牛的滑雪场，就一个

"Either the market is going to correct more meaningfully now or we have a

android也不用太得意，apple才真真靠phone赚到了钱。Motorola托起了android大旗，
表面很风光很火，不过刚刚季报却disappointed estimates, 盘后跌的一塌糊涂-6.8%
。而且“predicts difficult times ahead. More doom and gloom is cast by
Motorola itself, which is predicting a difficult first quarter of 2011 that
will end with the company losing between 9 and 21 cents per share in net
terms.”
一切都还很难说。至少WP7用户评价还不错，就还有希望。不求象android这么火，能够
不亏钱让市场上多一个player用户多一个choice就很不错了。smartphone市场turnover

系，电面，onsite，call to follow up时又最后临门一脚，发挥了点我youtube上学的
close的技巧，于是offer，在我论文写完了一大半的时候就来了。我当天就从了。
拿到offer以后，我对系里的事就再也不关心(care)了。不过还是有些事情可以写写。
组里又来了新的师弟师妹，老板让一个胖乎乎的小姑娘做的是：拓展一下asymmetric
epoxidation的substrate scope，也就是我五年前最开始做的事情。小姑娘看得出做得
很积极，周周汇报又试了什么，什么ee，让后还要试什么。。。（美国白人，不愁活路）
还有，隔壁Cain教授踢人了。因为这个学生在手套室里打翻了药瓶。。。我觉得这个原
因听着荒谬，但没人知道更合乎逻辑的理由。虽然大家暗地里说Cain教授的RP略有微暇
（不文明的话就不入文字了），我还是不明白他为什么要对自己的开门弟子如此呢，都
四五年级了。有人说这个学生哭着找到我老板Steve，希望他做为系主任能说说情。据

了几句，他说他退休了，我问他是不是打高尔夫太贵，所以才玩飞钓，结果他说才不是
呢，他那支杆子要600刀，可以买2根顶级的driver了。原来每个hobby都不cheap！

翻翻钓鱼杂志, 讨论最多的还是如何选择和PLAY LURE, 如何找鱼, 竿子的讨论极少,
因为对
多数钓鱼人来讲,竿子的性能对钓鱼的收获影响有, 但不是很大.
钓鱼还是要钓乐趣, 我就有一根钓了N年的小破杆, 拿在手上, 美好的钓鱼经历就历历
在目.
最近又从他人那儿得到了一根旧竿. 那天船钓FLUKE就用的很得心应手.
