标 题: 给那些对piranha有恐惧症的推荐另外一个清洗办法

我主要用piranha来洗gold晶体，但它洗 glassware 的效果那叫一个好，虽然很危险。
开始我们组里人还不大敢用，后来不管什么glassware都用piranha，一整一大桶，搞得
我头都大了。
还有一个清洗办法效果也不错，用来洗wafer和glass, 就是SC1, 是指半导体工业里的
standard cleaning 1。 30%H2O2 加 NH4OH 加 DI water = 1:1:3 或者 1:1:4。
80摄氏度煮45min到一小时。稍微麻烦点，不过安全多了。
我们煮silicon wafer的时候把一个teflon底座开一些槽，将wafer插进去。
有些glassware奇形怪状的不好加热，一个办法是用水浴，因为SC1在80度左右就沸了。
当然还有SC2,去除普通金属的效果较好，一般用不上。

for cakes.
Also, the temperature setting has to be adjusted to lower in glassware.
Comparing to metal pans, I usually set 25F lower. |

She is too careless even for a technician. Surprisingly the one who dropped
this glassware did not clean it up immediately and notify all fellow
workers about it. Even more surprisingly nobody actually reported this
accident to their safety committee. This lab should be fined and rectified.
Thus any sane scientist shall not trust any data provided by this lab.

是昨天我不小心看到了一篇新闻文章，才惊讶的发现其实最早做出来的，有可能是
Wayne State University的潘卓华。虽然他的投稿时间和Deisseroth的类似，但是因为
他是一个没有什么名气的学者，而且他的文章包装得不对，所以他的文章被百般耽误，
最后比Deisseroth的晚了一年才发表。
在2004年底潘就做出了和Deisseroth几乎一样的文章，除了用的细胞略微不同：他做的
神经细胞是从视网膜分离的，而Deisseroth 做的神经细胞是从大脑分离的。然后他把
文章陆续投向Nature, Nature Neuroscience,Journal of Neuroscience，却统统遭到
了拒稿。然后大半年之后，也就是2005年8月份，Deisseroth 的文章发表在Nature
Neuroscience上。潘得知之后，心都凉了。

1。进餐时右手刀、左手叉。European style 切完后不用换手，用左手的叉叉起来吃。
American style 要把刀放在盘子的top edge，叉交到右手。切菜时，一次最多切１－
２块 （it is important NEVER to cut more than one or two bites at one time）
，切一点吃一点，不可以一气切完。
2。不可以把汤端起来喝，但舀汤时可以让汤碗倾斜，正确的方向是away from the
body。同样，盛汤的动作也是away from yourself。汤碗下面一般会有盘子，喝完汤后
勺子要放在盘上（而不是碗里），碗的后面。
3。记住"liquids on your right and solids on your left" 。bread and butter
