很好，一进去后特别有家的感觉。现在是一个车位的garage，这个garage的侧面有窗户
，garage上面是主卧。由于这个garage侧面有很大的空位，再建一个 one-car garage
后还有富余。我的想法如下：
1）在这个garage旁再建一个one-car garage,把现在车位侧面的窗户改造成门，这样两
个车库有一个门相通，理论上也算是attached two-car garage了：）
2）在新建的garage上面建一个full bathroom，把现在的主卧侧窗改建成门。
请问大家这样的想法是否可行？大概花费会是多少？$3,5000够用吗？谢谢！
若是想法过于离谱，大家也别砸我太厉害：） |

ceiling，这样主卧冬天会隔热好点，但不知道该不该选insulate garage wall,造价
300左右，有经验的朋友给点建议吧。我理解的都是在drywall里填些隔热棉。问了几个
朋友，有的说无所谓，将来也不会给取暖费省多少钱，因为车库门还是透风的，没什么
本质区别。

刚才有跟builder聊了聊，说是 The Garage Wall that touches the House IS
Insulated. ONLY the WALLS that DO NOT TOUCH the HOUSE (LIVING SPACE) are not

好，要是很小的放一个车的garage真的觉得没有什么实际的太大的用处。我们家现在的garage根本都不用。。。觉得太小，还不如停在外面的舒服呢。就放了一些杂物。
如果没有封garage的口，你看看他是不是就在garage里面加了一层drywall阿？如果是
的话吧drywall拆掉就好了。应该不难的。

换完弹簧 又加上bottom rubber和8 feet strut additional $30
(garage door 以前被拉坏过一次 我上了块4 feet strut 用了半年多也被拉弯了 这次换掉了)

发帖数: 6102 | 17 上周六 Garage Door 左侧一个螺栓松动，导致开门时卡住，Garage Door opener 强行
转动导致一个齿轮断裂 （竟然是塑料齿轮！）
昨晚齿轮到货（$38），花了整整3个小时。先将门上弹簧全部松开，门的两边重新对齐
，绞盘钢丝上好，然后将弹簧上劲。试试手动开门，轻轻一拉开关自如。
最后将新的齿轮换上，测试Garage Door opener 开关转动正常，然后将铰链上好。最
后是调整Garage Door opener 开门和关门铰链提升的高度。
大功告成，省了多少银子不知道，但感觉很爽。 |

啥都没拿估计等机会到屋里的门没锁的时候偷东西， 估计还会再来。。。
明天打电话问问警察。。。 要装警铃或者camera 了， 操， 本来以为这个地方很安全
的， 不过隔壁的隔壁是家看上去不咋么样的黑人

房子的必要条件。当时agent向我保证，我看中的公寓有一个parking spot available
，所以我就交了100块钱定金。可是等到签合同的时候才发现，那个parking spot是在
garage里跟别人share. 也就是说，一个又长又窄的parking spot趴两辆车，里面的人
有外面的人的车钥匙，里面的人要用车的时候，把外面的车挪开，然后把自己的车开出
来，然后再把外面的那辆车开进去，然后再自己开车出门。当时大楼的manager 向我保
证，几十年来一向相安无事，没出过什么问题，如果有问题的话，garage不负任何责任
。因为当时比较喜欢那个apartment, 又挺着急要安顿下来，就同意了。签了lease,但
是关于garage的liability没有任何纸面合同。
后面的故事就是我刚刚搬进去，里面那个人就在出门前，挪我的车的时候，把我的车撞
在柱子上了，导致后面的bumper撞坏了。这个本来是小事，可是在跟保险公司打交道的

安装的顺序由点乱， 我是这样的：
package 有两样东西， 一个大点的 base unit, 一个小点的是 sensor
1) place base unit around your garage door opener motor, within 3 feet
这个如果不想上螺丝， 就用 3M 双面贴贴上就可以， 很轻的。 插电。 u should see
a blinking blue light now.
2) 把 sensor 贴在 garage door 上。
3）在手机 wifi list 里连 MyQ_xxx， 然后 following login screen， 连家里 wifi

板也坏了，不过后来又开了100多迈，估计没什么其他大的问题。今天跑去想check一下
车子的情况，因为车子撞了，前盖打不开，garage说要打开前盖才能做里面的check。
其实我的前盖应该没坏，以前也很难打开，每次打开都要费很大劲。接着garage给做了
一个body shop的estimate，要3000刀。我那个车子两年前买的才5000刀而已。
想问问pittsburgh附近有没有比较便宜的garage，我也不在乎车子外型，只要把前灯修
好，然后其他基本没问题能过年检就好，3000块的整形是太贵了。

等我们整理完破小窝时居然多了很多物品，一千来尺的小窝快给杂物挣破了，我问LG：杂物太多了，我们是不是要搭个棚子存放？我不舍得扔了它们呀。。。。。。LG大概怕我真的学做棚子吧，笑着拍拍我说：是时候让你练练英文了，这个星期六天气好的话，我们在门口摆GARAGE SALE！
之前我也曾光顾过西人的GARAGE SALE，觉得好玩，东西也便宜，不过真的要自己摆，好象有点不好意思，也怕没人光顾。事实证明我多虑了。
那天天公作美，是个阳光普照的好日子，我用纸皮做了个大大的牌子写上“GARAGE SALE”就竖在路边。我们的旧小屋就在路边，我们就把杂物放在门口的车道上，这样，来往的车都可以看到我们的“货品”了。
出乎我的意料之外的是东西还没全部搬出来，就有两部车子停下来看了，老公笑着说：我示范一次，下一个你来招呼客人！他说得好象很有经验似的，可能是帮我壮胆吧，他自己也还是头一次呢。
