提起格尔尼卡，人们首先想到的恐怕是毕加索的同名画作，而格尔尼卡这个并无特别出
众之处的小城也是由此而闻名世界。不知道有多少人真的能够看懂这幅画，但是所有的
人－－无论艺术鉴赏力高低，都无一例外地受到这幅画作的背景解说的引导，这个背景
就是1937年4月26日德国空军空袭格尔尼卡的历史事件。
综合起来，流传的说法大致是这样的：
“位于西班牙北部巴斯克地区的小城格尔尼卡，是巴斯克古老文化的象征，城内有一颗
