BTW, I know your freshmen include red-shirt freshmen who are sophomores and
so forth. There is a big difference between true freshmen, sophomores and
red-shirt freshmen and sophomores.
By ND's definition (we don't red-shirt anyone and we have 5th seniors), you
have 30 juniors, 15 seniors and 13 5th seniors. That's a total number of 58
players comparing to our 29. |

1950’s-60’s Alabama. Based on race, both States enrolled students based
on race rather than qualifications. Racism, black or white is wrong—unless
you are a Brown/Obama Progressive. Amazing how many white progressives
think it is OK to enroll students based on race when their father and mother
marched in Selma, Alabama against this form of racist policy.

record is 5-1 now.
俺再来说说，我们防守的问题。个人认为，最大的问题在于CB，俺们是自06年以来，总
是有一个CB不行，包括以前的mogen Trent, freshmen Warren, 现在的booboo/floyd。
好歹咱们也算是个CB school，能找到好的CB，却总不能找到2个，这问题要到明年才能
解决。我们已经有不少freshmen和2010 class secondary freshmen/safety了。因为我
们有一边corner back不行，DC往往要调动一个safety去帮他，这样我们场上少了一个
人，特别是3rd and long，safety blitzs使不上，也不能用来cover TE/slot，要么空
一个LB去防TE，要么Gamble去blitz。这样老是中间空虚，也造成MSU的QB能自己抱着球
跑这么远，其实他们的8号mobility还不算好，但是我们都去cover receive |

卢瑟赛季的一点亮点就是我们很多TRUE FRESHMEN不但打比赛了，还打上主力了，不仅
打上主力，还入选最佳阵容了，也多少给了我们长角Fans一点希望。
简要说一下我们入选的这三个新人：
LB Malik Jefferson
今年已经拿了N多的新人奖了，也是BIG12的freshmen Defensive play of the year、
虽然赛季后期受到伤病困扰，错过了几场比赛，但是整个赛季下来，还是亮点颇多。去
年的大猩猩，247排名上是TX的第一，OLB的第一。算是STRONG在长角这两年中没有亮点
中的最大亮点了，多亏了当时ATM没有DC，然后他又赶着春季入学，最终在12月底
Commit了长角。STRONG也把Jefferson类比他们当年在鳄鱼招来的提包，可以算得上我
们将来长角能不能扭转乾坤的领军人物。一年看下来，感觉最大的缺点就是力量不够，
tackle技术还有待提高，速度快能够冲击QB，但是今年miss tackle太多了，很多时候

Basically, that's a class with all the freshmen and sophomores. So when you
hear a TV announcer say this is a red-shirt freshmen, actually he is a
sophomore by academic years. That player has been with the school for 2
years.
So basically using academic year standard, they have
60 freshmen and sophomores.
30 Juniors.
15 Seniors.
13 fifth year seniors.
This is also the system ND use.
The total number (118) is big because they have many walk-ons.

You just don't understand red-shirt, do you? Go to the names of your so
called sophomore class to see if they were 2005 recruits. The majority of
the players will be red-shirted. That's why you have a fat freshmen class
with 60 people. That's a combination of your freshmen and sophomore (red-

summer job before freshmen year in your resume even it's an irrelevant job. It can show a student being responsible and dependable to
hold a job. It's not a must, but it does help one stand out from the crowd.

But, Admissions differ between them.
That example shows 2/3 : 9 : 55 (著名邻里高中)
UIUC 55: differ between the colleges at UIUC.

Asian American (from USA) 360/(1060 - 275) = 46 %
120 x 46% = 55
