O(10^9*log10). Then they asked the second question.
How to find 10 most frequent strings in 10 billion string list?
Not much idea. I answered to sweep once to build (string,frequency) pair
and then sweep again to find the first 10. Is there any better way? |

出去玩, 坐飞机,吃饭,和住酒店是必不可少的.飞机是最必须的,没有它哪也去不了,所以
票有时候贵点大家也都买了. 住酒店可就不一样,从hostel , motel, 到5星的豪华酒店,
选择就太多了. 如果大家认为酒店就是个睡觉的地方,再哪睡都一样,越便宜越好,那这篇
文章的用途基本就没有了. 如果大家认为出去玩住的一定要舒服的话,那FGP才起到了它的
作用.我知道priceline and hotwire 可以有便宜的房间,但每次,你钱附了就服了,也不能
取消,也没有点可以积攒.其他的什么benefit 你也没有.最主要的是,他们有时候并不比在
hotel brand website 上面的钱便宜多少! 其实最重要的部分不是光攒那几个点, 而是
elite member benefits and treatments!你出去玩是想花$100 住在标准间 |

I was wondering if anyone knows how I can transfer between my DL (Delta) and
CO (Continental) frequent flyer miles? I haven't decided which way to
transfer, but as long as I can transfer between them, I would be fine. The
reason to ask was that I just found out that I could provide my DL number to
my CO ticket, and I had to use my CO frequent flyer number.

work on it. But what I can tell you is that frequent item set is the seminal
data mining problem. there are even conferences dedicate on this subject,
so it is not a good topic to pick if you are starting work on data mining
and want to publish in kdd top conference. |

generally cars can be in good health within 100k mileages; once over, it
goes to "hospital" frequently. and Japanese cars typically live well longer.

那天跟一个朋友聊天，无意中谈起假期回家的事情，发现他一年回家2次却从来不积飞
行里程。
这可是个巨大的损失，正好这几天在定寒假回家的机票，在blog上稍微写点东西记录一
下。
一般航空公司都有常旅客奖励 [FFP] 比如American Airline的是AAdavantage， North
West
Airline的是World Perks 等等。坐飞机就能有里程，里程可以订奖励票，可以换航空
公司的高
级会员资格
1 用来定奖励票
虽然各家公司的里程都在贬值，但我觉得定奖励票还是很划算的，FFP大牛认为用里程
票定商务
仓或者头等舱的票要更划算一点，但这个仁者见仁，智者见智拉，我觉得经济舱无非就
是飞的
10几个小时里吃点苦而以，这个对我不算什么但是却节省了很多里程。
奖励票还是需要付一点税，比如我昨天Reserve的AA的奖励机票

不知道有没有人遇到这样的情况：
刚换了1000M router，（ASUS RT－N16），装了DD－WRT，然后又试了Tomato Teddy
Bear，
都是造成Comcast modem频繁重启。router本身似乎运行稳定。（顺便说一句，在这个
router上
Tomato Teddy Bear 比 DD－WRT 好很多，感觉，后者感觉上任何网页都慢吞吞的，都
要个几秒钟
的时间）。
理论上说，重启是modem自己的问题，就算是router发的包有问题，modem也不应该重启
。不过在
modem上估计没什么选择。
有人遇到过这样的情况吗？怎么解决的？网上搜了，没找到有用的东西。
还有，有办法去看modem的log（或者是其他的什么办法看modem的运行信 |

法，根据你每年飞得里程MQM(Medallion Qualifying Miles)来定你的tier(silver,

locations are only served by certain airlines. For example, Fayetteville,
NC (FAY) is only served by US Airways & Delta Air Lines, so if your frequent
flyer program is American Airlines, then it does not make sense.
