1) security freeze的含义及其作用?
通俗地讲，"secruity freeze"是你主动给你的credit report "上锁" 以对其进行保护
. 从而, 任何第三方机构（如银行: AMEX, Chase）需要得到你的授权才能"hard pull"
你的credit report.
注1: 通过第三方（如银行）的网络链接或者邀请信申请信用卡或者贷款时，第三方并
未(以默认的方式)得到你的授权，也无法hard pull被security freeze的credit
report.
注2: sercurity freeze 无法阻止你现有信用账号的提供者(your existing creditor,

第一，freeze不freeze，关perm什么事啊。而且公司freeze不freeze一般没什么硬性文
件规定，就是开会可能说一下，无法缺少的人（比如关键的人）离开了，管你freeze还
是不freeze啊，都要招。公司就是提醒大家，你们少招人而已。
第二，另外，你去读perm的规则，上面哪个地方写了和hire freeze有关的东西？
第二，freeze本身就可以在公司确定要招了你后发生，就是招了你后，才不准备招别的
人了，有什么矛盾么？ |

basically it freezes for about 20 seconds, around this time, yourkit does
not take any samples, so it's a straight empty period of 20 seconds for all

第一天猫粮泡水，主子一点兴趣没有。。。
第二天我把freeze dried当干粮喂，主子表示很喜欢，猫奴很开心，想着进到胃里面一
样会被泡开的，所以外面加水里面加水效果应该差不多的。可是。。。
这样吃了两天，主子的bb变成白色的了。。。白色的。。。白色的。。。而且非常干燥
，白色的里面看上去是没有消化的絮状物，看不出来是不是freeze dried干粮。。。
我怕继续这样喂她会便秘啊。。。
所以爬上来请教大家，freeze dried的猫粮我能不泡水当干粮喂嘛？
另，这样喂很贵啊。。。估计两周能吃一袋子。。。日均消费水平蹭的一下子高大上了

每次你开信用卡的时候到这些信用机构网站lift你的freeze（有的lift一次需要花$10)
，lift的时候specify你的lift period，这个时间段可以开卡
不过除了开卡外，ssn泄漏也会有其他危害，这个freeze算是堵住一个渠道吧 |

底前暴毙了，打开机箱发现主板上一电容爆浆，后来，发现硬盘早有内伤，只是还未发
作。
鬼使神差，在outlet买了xps 8100。开苞后，发现显卡风扇积灰显然有日子了。。。一
个月后，频繁蓝屏+freeze。自测发现内存有问题，在客户的帮助下，准备恢复系统时
，硬盘彻底挂了。
Dell服务还行，第二天就送来“新”refurbished硬盘和内存。相安无事一个月后，又
开始频繁freeze，间隔10多分钟到3、4个小时不等，只要过夜，肯定freeze 。这次，
测试内存和硬盘，都没有问题，客户折腾半天，赖操作系统。客户要求恢复初始状态，
因为这是换过的硬盘，无法进行。最后，决定更换整台电脑，还是新的refurbished。
唉，自己攒机也没这么累。 |

randomly, but usually within 1 hour after powered on. when the computer
freezes, it won't respond to mouse or keyboard. the screen stays where it
was and won't go black. anyone having the same problem?
ps i have been using win7 on the same computer for many months and it never
freezes so i am sure it is the problem of 10.04, not my computer. |
