(1) 一般来说，如果instrument的volatility太大,对于投资者来说比较不利。（如果
你是broker,当然你一定会偷笑)
(2) 不知道大家对于fnm fre投资前对他们的业务有多少了解。简单的说，fnm fre 贷
款给买房者，然后将这些loan打包，securitize 后，卖给债券投资者。他们主要赚取
fee。他们的业务主要集中在conforming loan. 这种loan一般比较小，可以说在
conforming loan,他们基本上没有竞争对手,但是亦是由于如此他们的借贷量非常。如
果大量的loan delay或者default, fnm fre必须要用他们charge的fee来补偿投资者。
如果他们预留的fee太少(现在来看，预留的实在太少)，他们就死翘。
(3) ABK 的教训
如果对于fiancial subprime crisis 过程比较理解大概都知道abk.简单的说，abk是一
家保险公司，原先给muni类作担保，收入稳定，后来为了赚更多，做了CDO的保险。当

人人都在谈F-2的国有化，需要吗？
如果我是F-2的股东，我会拒绝，还没到那个份上。
F-2共保有5T的mortgage，
a)6-8% default rate， 30% loss per case，损失90B-120B，
b)5% default rate, 20% loss per case，损失50B
c)4% default rate， 15% loss per case，损失30B
个人一向对美国房市不乐观，但觉得第二种可能比较接近事实，摊到每家头上也就25B
，相当于$40每股。
F-2资不抵债不是问题，他们的利润评估中净资产值没有任何意义，因为未来的现金流
在买入MBS时就已经基本确定。他们hold的MBS市场波动对并不改变他们从这些MBS上得
到的收益。
所以，如果有discount window保证了F-2的短期现金筹措能力，再允许他们发行更大规
模的短期债券来维持资本充足率，F-2是可以生存的。
以fre而论，2007年股价在$60，假设p/e 15，那么每年运营利润就有$ |
