while ago. But, I did not read it through from the beginning back then. Now
I read it carefully. I think the author brings up a couple of good points
that are beneficial:
1. Foot landing location might be a more important issue.
2. The ideal landing position might be speed related. Fore-foot or mid-foot
might be natural for fast pace while heel landing might be a better choice
for slow pace.

发帖数: 1032 | 8 今天不知怎的突然开始怀疑我地下室默认的8-foot会因为boxed ductwork让整个地下室
变低，最后只有7 feet多高。网上看了很多人对于要不要把地下室升级到9-foot
ceiling的讨论，我的builder要3K来做这个升级，思前想后还是放弃了9 feet的想法，
ductwork被包住的那块确实会比8 feet低，但其他部位还是8 feet，而且本人也就179
的身高，外加地下室也有门和窗户，采光没问题。同样也不想花这3K在这上面。
我发这个帖子是想表达：当你买二手房的时候，很少会关注地下室甚至一楼的高度，一
般都是8 feet，当自己盖房的时候就会纠结这些问题，归结最主要原因还是钱。

谢谢大家的评论，从建议的角度我也会喜欢9 feet，但从自身实际出发，我的决定还是
保持8 feet不变，况且如果basement 加到9' 的话为什么不优先考虑二楼先加到9',已
经加了两万多的upgrade了，包括一楼的9‘ ceiling, 当然钱还是最主要的因素，我实

刚才有审问了一下女儿。事情是这样的。
我们在南加， 不是很冷， 所以很多人穿那种不带后跟的鞋。 老师也是。 所以， 老师给孩子读书时， 如果翘个二郎腿， 那个鞋就主动掉下来了。
第一次老师说， 我的脚冷， 他们班一个第一排的女生主动帮老师揉脚。

发帖数: 2165 | 11 今天在跑步机上用新到的foot pod测了一下速度，发现foot pod测出来的比跑步机上设
定的慢不少。跑步机上设定的是7.1 mph，foot pod是6.7mph。 看来自己的迈数又要打
折扣了。
不过今天测得步频快了不少，平均90。这个应该是准的吧，好像不需要calibration.
看来听网上下的podrunner 180 bpm 的歌还是很有用的，有需要提高步频的朋友可以下
载听一下。
附近也没有track可以calibrate foot pod。 准备直接把 factor 设成1.06。 这样就
可以让自己的速度看起来更快一点，更有成就感。哈哈 |

前几天在amazon 上面买了这款传说中的电动洗脚盆，在北美算是质量最好，评价最高
的了！比较的很多家，很多天之后终于下手买下了！怀着激动的心情想要用一下，但是

时常见对打得老中有爱用高抛发球技术的。个人认为对于我们亚裔小个子来说，高
抛发球没有任何益处，相反，对于正确掌握动作增加难度和延长动作定型时间，在
实战中也不容易保持稳定性。其实，很多人不明白一个简单道理：最简单的最有效
的是最好的技术。抛球就抛到右手持拍伸直的高度，在最高点时击球，其技术快捷、
简易、稳定性好、其实也可以有很好的隐蔽性--取决于你技术的熟练和对对手站位、
手腕转动等。
我最近和一曾打羽毛球的老印发考题对打，他高个，发高抛式，确实很难接发。可
是，他面对我的低抛发球也照样吃发--他可比我技术还好，应是solid 4.0，对打时
我常6：4输给他，我只能4/6开。所以，高抛和低抛并不是绝对决定因素。关键是动
作的正确、力量、角度和旋转的有机结合。
从一开始就要注意FOOT-FAUL的问题，千万别养成习惯，因为一旦动力定型，再纠正
很难，尤其到正式比赛时，被人一注意和喊了，现纠正几乎不可能。我见过不少人，
被喊了FOOT-FAUL后，立即变得不会发球了！这个心理障碍在实战时会很大地影像你
技术发挥和比赛状态。不可忽视。

I have copied the rocking front foot in the past. But I was only pretend
doing that just for show and did no get the real benefit. Like I hit
forehand stop then do a fake shoulder turn and follow through to make it
