相信各位所在城市都被whole food market覆盖了吧，我没记错的话全美有超过300家连
锁店，按
理说国内大城市，沿海城市应该有消费 有机食品的 消费能力和消费欲求，至少打着无
公害无污染
的旗号应该能让不少先富们开始消费，但是怎么我问深圳上海的朋友都说没有这样的超
市开张？
这个真令人百思不解
另外问了下国内食品行业的就业也是说一片惨淡，不知道这个关系民生的事情怎么会弄
得无人问

但大多数鱼肉以及shellfish，不都是wild caught的么，凭什么比其他店卖得贵？
卖相又不好，好些看上去都不新鲜的样子

striped bass fillet $13.99/lb，尼玛好些钓鱼的美国人上了keeper都release的 |

food会用到。可我家小宝已经断了jar food了，以前我也是用一个扔一个。可是楼上老

Austin很多学生+yuppie,学校周围和downtown热闹的地方基本24/7都有人流，food
truck也会开全天。
Houston的food truck客人基本都集中在midtown,montrose,现在还加上一点BBVA
stadium附近，而且也都是晚上出来hangout的人.所以food truck最多的时候都是这几
个地方的周末晚上。很多好吃的truck也大多就开几小时，12点之前就卖完了。 |

到HOUSTON老远去了一次买了10几磅的肉, 拿回来打开竟然是臭的, 买的水果也不新鲜,
感觉在德州HEB好过whole foods market, 以至于whole foods market的东西流通不快
, 竟然臭了, 店小二当场拿出来给我包的, 他肯定闻到了, 因为臭味很大, 竟然不告诉
我! 最后只好都丢掉了, 10几磅的肉啊.

如果不是改成wet food only, 老咪那時可能永遠離開我了.
我出遠門的時候, 先把需要的wet food全分好份量凍好裝袋. pet sitter每天來一次,
給咪新鮮的罐頭吃, 把冷凍的放到auto feeder的格子裡. feeder可set timer, 時間到
它會前進一格, 貓奴要算好時間, 做點實驗, 哪格應該何時出現.
開始會覺得有點confused, 不過弄懂就簡單了, 那麼多老美都會用....

一般中式喝茶的小瓷碗滿杯是1.5oz, 我就用那個當模子裝wet food再扣到cookie

记得当时的评论很热烈，也很两极化，可能大家都看过。 给我印象很深的是一个反面
评论， 对电影的中心思想提出批评， 大意是：1) there is no such conspiracy
theory that the government and big food companies are purposely jeopardising
the health of American people and poison the general public; 2) the food
companies doing these horrible things because they are driven to offer food
at large quantities and affordable prices. 我觉得这些话讲的很好， 批评一件

今天为Palouse Care Food Drive做义工，收集donation。一路边敲各家各户的门，一
边感慨，这活动和住院医申请面试还很多相通之处呢，值得在日记里记录两笔。
因为正值面试季，干脆放在麦地和各位同学分享。听故事放松一下。：）
这个Food Drive是每年一次的，我们地区最大规模的，是在社区挨家挨户食品收集的行
动。因为是两个相邻的大学城一起行动，来做义工领地图的大学生们，成群地结着伴，
排的长队非常壮观。我做为Community volunteer不用排队，直接领地图，主管几条街
就行了。实话讲，这是我第一次参加直接敲门收集donation的活动，还真不知从哪里开
始的好。放眼一望，也没有像我这样YOG的同行。正想着，不行就硬着头皮，单干吧。
毕竟还是有点儿经验，以前作为家长，看着儿子小童子军挨家挨户为Food Bank工作过
。摸着石头过河也能过去，不过，有人领着，应该会少走些摸摸索索的时间。不甘心，

治版方针，
1， 及时整理， mark网友有价值的菜谱， 经验等等。
老实说本人认为现任版主做的并不是很好， 例如很多在re

2， food版向来气氛很好， 但是仍然提倡专版专用，
是food办成为大家交流烹饪经验的场所。 不提倡

小团体”，是food版众id们一致同意你们是马甲。你一个人带着用代理的马甲和food版
众id吵，自己回自己贴假装两个人，把一向清净的food版搞个乱七八糟。

也不明白food版和政治倾向有什么关系，
其他不说了，
楼主不是在香港么，
这么个时差怎么管理主要人群都在美国的版面？
要是这样都行，站方直接让廊五把全部版主都换了最好了。

？就因为有人怀疑一个菜谱不可靠，就应该把她为版面和网友所做得一切都抹杀？你这
么极端，到底是真的为网友着想还是为了私人恩怨？你在food版的id是什么？混了多久
food版现在要替food版的所有网友说话？
毛毛妈在网上算够有credit吧？我前一阵子恰好按照毛毛妈的方子做了马可龙，发现她
的方子不对，原来怀疑是我自己没做对，又比较了其它的方子才确定她给的烤制时间就
是过短，导致马可龙不熟粘连烤盘。我是不是应该骂她把她赶出各大论坛，摧毁她那么
多500人的微信群？
奉劝你两点：第一，做人不要太绝。第二，心理阴暗就阴暗，别打着正义的大旗。这网

最近，有MITBBS老网友提出：我们做菜，应该向“正宗”学习，
向“传统”致敬。心下颇有同感。
可我们已置身四海，故乡远隔万里，长江缩成一线，珠穆朗玛才有资格成为一点。
我们的故乡味，我们的家乡菜，在这万里之外，
有没有可能保持“正宗”？，我们螳臂当车，有没有可能护卫“传统”？
在我们所有人下任何结论之前，
我反躬自省，也许，很多有经验，有对传统饮食具有深刻理解和经验的网友从没获得过
