stack him. For this hand, if you know he would call your raise anyway,
your raise wouldn't offer you any useful information. Here, it's ok to call
once and fold to later bets. Also, keep in mind, you may hit a king and
stack him if he would call you down anyway. The basic idea to play against
loose players who are not serious about big bets is to play big pots with
big pairs and valuebet a lot with top pairs and over pairs |

(hits his hand somehow, if flopped set, would more likely raise), check turn
(a lot of ppl like to check with made flush here), check/raise such a big
size on river (he has to take off the cover and net profits at some point).

in harrington's cash game books, he specifically mentioned this in vol I. he
said (not exact words): "don't feel lucky/good/heroic when you lay down KK
in this situation, and then see your opponent show AA" ... " because in the
long term, you'll fold a lot of times to QQ, AK, AQ, JJ alike too and it
will cost you more money...". he also said, the chance that you have KK and
somebody has AA at the same time is about 1%. |

1) vs. a few high cards, AK, AQ;
2) vs. 2 high cards, AK and a pair like QQ/JJ;
3) vs. 2 over pairs, total disaster;
4) vs. 1 over and 1 under pair, still, a big underdog;
5) vs 2 high cards and 1 under pair, at most a coin flip;
...
you're UTG raiser, so more likely your opponents have you right now. |

his bet size is too much, not really like a set, more like a TT-QQ hand (
wait to see a low flop). strong is weak, weak is strong.
your flop bet is bigger than normal, and he raises 4x:
1) he could put you on a naked c-bet with two high. if so, he's telling you
to go out NOW, no more catch-up;
2) you could have an over pair, or A9 hand, but he's happy with winning
right here.
there's no turn play for you any more, it's either shove or fold here on
flop. |

1) AK, AQ alike, a naked c-bet, then his raise (with any two) could get you
to fold here;
2) over pair, unless it's a dominant one, like you have JJ, he has AJ (J is
useless), he still has plenty of outs with AQ/AK;
3) set? your bet is a little too big, it's possible but not likely;
4) you're not happy with two spades, and want to finish it here, so it makes
his hand like AsKs, Ts8s very playable;
5) two pair, actually it's pretty hidden for your pre-flop action |

much means he has a very strong hand, definitely not on a draw.
I have learned this by losing money. For example, once I was in sb, and
always raised to 3bb preflop when only me and bb left, and he always folded.
I got AKo once and did the same thing raising to $0.3, he suddenly went all
-in with $10. I thought WTF was going on here? who would play AA like this?!

Either he has a monster draw(jd kd) (ad td), or have you crashed,(KK, AA, or 10queen).
Surely, the worst case is 444.
In very rare care, it could be a big bluff though, but very unlikely. |

if I called, i lost small to dino and won big from Gaz.
The lesson for me here is: overbetting on flop, he probably has flash draw.

may play too chicken or abnormally aggressive.
1/2NL 6 max is like 4 levels up, too high le. if you lose a big portion of
your roll there, you'd feel very bad and get frustrated in poker. no good,
poker is about long term success.
i folded one very similar straight flush yesterday too.
8d9d at button, MP raises 4x, he's been quiet for a while so i give him some
respect, donk at UTG calls.

do you think he was calling my flop and turn bets with?
my gut feeling is that he has a Q. call is simple and doesn't require much
thought but I have just started to learn hand ranges and reading people and
I would like to develop a keen sense of hand reading.
the easy way out is simply call. the difficult part is that I want to rely
on my reads and fold. I wont reraise this pot. |

也有Q，自己kicker小，最后来了6，没有了kicker的问题，所以就raise了。
如果不是这样，很难想像对方为何要raise lz。可能他有10，一直不相信lz有Q，最后
lz check了，证明没有Q，那他最好的选择是跟着check，不会raise。因为这样最保险。
综上，lz唯一赢的机会是对方头脑发热，看见lz示弱就raise吓人，之前call了lz两次
为了等顺子或者同花。这个可能性太小了。 |

folded, I called. Flop small cards(<10), button all in instantly and I
called instantly, he showed QQ.
My read:
If someone all in at a flop without Ace or any draw, he does not have AA or
any nut (set or two pairs) for 99% sure.

hand 1: i 4x with KK from UTG, one caller, a korean guy over shoved 100BB
right away with AA... well, i had a bad feeling but still called with
60BB.
hand 2: i picked up AA at SB, button 5x in a multi-way, i "learned" from
last hand and over shoved too, crushed QQ like a charm.

我的两把牌， 第一把是因为scary flop， 3 红桃带ace， 对手肯定没有flush， 我赌
的是这点， 所以call了， 不然我会fold。
第二把牌， 我flop 一对， 有flush draw， 对上AA/KK的 over pair, 我有9+2+2=13
个odds, 然后implied odds也很高， 所以我call了。
你这把牌是纯粹的被calling station bad beat了, 跟我之前的一副AK 被KQ bad beat
几乎一模一样， 3bet preflop, flop TPTK, pot pot, 被对家等到了str8t。
