那Flonase nasal spray 有副作用啊，如果长期用会不会对孩子不好啊。另外这个喷鼻
子的长期用有必要吗，如果长期用会不会对药物产生依赖啊？希望指点迷津，万分感谢
。这小孩长大后会不会不再对尘螨过敏了？ |

前几天小感冒，成天流鼻涕，自己又不会弄，只知道往里面吸，很痛苦。
还低烧了一天，夜晚咳嗖，很痛苦，没吃药，现在天暖和又自己好了。
眼看学校开始给打大人的flushot了，心想该不该给宝宝打个？
给医院电话，说2岁可以打FLONASE，貌似是spray。
不知道安全吗？版上有爸妈了解吗？

Guaifen: a decongestant, just makes your nose not stuffy. Doesn't deal with
the cause of your symptoms.
Flonase: a steroid nasal spray
looks like you have nasal allergy. Have you been using your flonase? Did you
finish the whole bottle? It usually last a long time. In your case, flonase is
the one that is relieving your symptoms. Just keep using it or renew your
prescription once you run out. |

Let me give you an example why I do not think patient should seek medical
advice here.
A patient's post on online forum: I have allergies, nose congestion, always
got sinus infection, headache, but no wheezing now, and currently i am on
Dulera and albuterol. what should I do.
reply from A: you dont have wheezing, try to not to use Dulera
reply from B: you need to see your doctor
reply from C: try some vitamin D.
reply from D,E,F: blah, blah, blah,

这个在美国去年变成了OTC
还有一种是Nasonex
两种都属于激素药。但从两个医生那儿都说了flonase不会addicted. |

* histamine
* cat
* dog
* feathers
* grasses (bermuda)
* molds (alternaria)
* trees (elm mix, birch)
* dust
* pollen
主要症状就是从鼻子堵塞开始，咽喉肿痛，睡觉不好，全身疲劳，办公室里全身感觉冷
，脚特别冷，常年感冒症状。上个冬季几乎一直是感冒症状，最后是忍的收不了，看了
PCP医生，给同时开了抗生素+flonase喷鼻子药，发现过去7，8年来从来没有那么舒服
过，听了喷鼻子药第二天有回到的状态对比，才明白了是严重过敏。现在喷flonase效
果很好。
5年前去找了当时PCP推荐，看的同一个过敏医，当时测试结果仅仅是花粉过敏。开了要
nasonex不顶用。后来去找个ENT医生，说是鼻子气流不畅，最终折腾一下，做了鼻腔通
气手术，手术之前的医生说法基本上手术一做，基本上把鼻子阻塞问题能根治。做得创
伤似乎很严重，鼻子血不拉及，在家里忍了三天之后才稍微好。结果发现没有多大提高。

到耳道里。我们的儿医建议用抗过敏的激素 （FLONASE or NASONEX) spray 控制，长
大以后腺样体缩小就好了。FLONASE 已经是OTC了，不要处方 |

。我曾经是很严重的花粉病，什么口服抗组胺药都无效，用了flonase and nasacort鼻
子症状完全没有了。眼睛的症状用含抗组胺的眼药水 比如Alaway，多少有帮助。 口服
药如claritin, zyrtec and allegra可以用，但效果不大。 另外，含血管收缩剂的喷
剂最好不用，药效果后的反跳更严重。 |

SymbiCort是 Formoterol + PulmiCort, 一个long acting beta agonist + 一个
inhaled steroid。SymbiCort = symbiotic (生物共生) Cortisone，Formoterol 都不
用记了。
和SymbiCort 同类的是 Advair, Advair = salmeterol + fluticasone. Salmeterol
呢，挖其根源，和Albuterol 、Formoterol一样，都是terol 一族， beta-2 agonist
。而fluticasone 呢，看似又一个难记的，但是慢着，它的brand name 是 什么？是
Flonase 啊！Flonase 作为inhaled steroid，最早是用来治疗过敏性鼻炎，也就是---
Flow nose。所以Advair = 一个long acting beta agonist + 一 |

time ago I took some 鼻舒适片 and it seems to work, but as soon as I stop

tsp non-iodized salt, mornings and evenings. Works wonder for me. :-)
You can also try homeopathic nasal sprays , e.g. BioAllers Sinus Allergy.
It's a type of alternative medicine, anything labeled "2X" or higher is
really very diluted and nothing to worry about.
BTW prescription Flonase is considered safe during pregnancy. |

Flonase is actually considered class C during pregnancy, which means adverse
effects found in animal studies, or no studies about this medicine at all.
Second generation anti-histamine, such as zyrtec, claritin are considered
class B for pregnancy, which means at least safe in animal studies.
It is probably wise to talk to your OB to see what she would recommend for
your symptoms. |

两年前得过严重鼻炎，吃了Prednisone,用Flonase，2-3周就好了。现在我怀孕18周，
鼻炎很严重，好几夜都没睡着，半夜痛苦的在厕所大哭，结果鼻子更堵了。各种不用处
方药的方式都试过了：Saline Rinse,Neti pot,Steam,Vaporub,humidifier,最后看了
医生，给我开了RhinoCort,pregnancy B category.用了几天，根本没效果。现在只有
AFRIN可以帮助我，但是医生说只能用不超过3天。我不知道该怎么办才好？而且听说孕
期的鼻炎有可能一直持续到生产，我还有4个月的日子要熬过。
白天鼻子不通，我可以忍着，晚上无法睡觉对孩子可不好。我在想每天就晚上
睡觉前用一点AFRIN,就用在一个鼻孔里。不知道对孩子有没有影响。各位给我支个招吧
！真的好痛苦。谢谢！ |

May need different antibiotics for longer time, but you have to ask your
doctor for the antibiotics. |

out of so many different nose sprays, Rhinocort nasal spray is Class B
medication.
We usually prescribe Rhinocort nasal spray to pregnant lady and discontinue
their Nasonex or Flonase nasal spray. |

我们就买了一个放在小孩睡觉的房间里.
没有办法,只好激素长期使用有半年一年再说吧！
这种严重过敏小孩是非常难受的,而且说不出来.
睡不好觉，喉咙刺激痒老想吐痰，没有胃口但还很饿，脚冷怕寒，睡了一大觉后起来还
极其疲劳，没有精神，甚至慢性疼痛。。。我最近才发现原来自己也遭受长期严重过敏
的全方位折腾都有八九年了，看眼睛看鼻子折腾一圈发现都没有用，一直在忍。再次回
到平PCP那儿他继续当炎症看说不是过敏，。。。后来歪打正着断定了过敏。喷了鼻子
药之后（flonase 2014年变成了OTC）感觉对比太震撼自己了。 |

服，用neti-pot清洗鼻腔，用eye cup洗涤眼睛， 再加漱口。OTC 的zaditor/alaway
对眼睛痒有用， Flonase/nasacort对鼻子痒，流鼻水挺好， 不行的话就只能吃
Claritin , Zyrtec or Allegra 了。 |
