发帖数: 141 | 9 一个是US教职，不是tenure-track，3门课每semester，感觉挺多
另一个是欧洲Research fellow，也要教课，但是很少，一年3门课吧
工资上，US工资比欧洲的多1倍
利弊如下：
US教职，教学量重，可能没时间做research啦，但自己本身的弱点就是没有教学经历；
也可以借用第一年攒攒教学经历，第二年再申请tenure track AP；顺便问下你们
research为主的AP一般teaching load是多少?
欧洲的位置，大组，牛人，可以继续做相关research，也可以攒教学经历，工资低，但
是就当地来说还不错啦，欧洲是个均贫的地方；当然，地理位置优越，可以到处玩。地
域、语言不是很熟悉，适应环境对我来说倒不是事儿。没有relocation support. |

然你认为自己有道理，那完全可以开诚布公的去找他谈，问他为什么不知会你一下，然
后指出他的技术描述是错的。你看他怎么说。很多时候自己在这里猜很容易把对方想坏
。同时也问问自己做的哪里不对，告诉他你的职业目标。总之，不管什么阶段的人，都
别太把自己当回事儿了，碰到事，多谦虚的沟通。。你那句“他完全不懂我做的技术”
就很吓人，这得多自大的人才能说出的话，而且对方是跟你年纪相同就做了你的PI的人
。。我实验室请了一个大我七八岁的助理教授，一来就教训我管理团队的方式不对，呵
呵。。 |

，但是学校把postdoc当作student来看待，拿fellowship但不算employed。
这样就产生了一个问题：opt extension必须full time employed，那岂不是无法在学
校用OPT extension来继续做postdoc了？
