你说的礼貌程度我猜就是beside manner。医生的bedside manner更多的时候跟病人的
需求有关系。内科门诊病人希望医生搞一些touchy-feely的东西，因为一来病情本身需
要这些，二来病人不觉得自己病情有多严重。外科病人经常不希望医生这样，都要被开
刀了，还让别人sugarcoat病情有什么意思呢？
病人的需求是不断变化的，最典型的例子是妇产科。现在病人小毛病很少找男的妇科医
生，要是没办法碰到男医生，有时还要唧唧歪歪半天，国内前几年这种新闻特别多。不
过如果病情老是没好转，或者得的是大病比如肿瘤，那病人就会务实很多，不管男女医
生，能治好病就行了。
说外科医生比内科医生粗鲁，其实只是人云亦云。据我观察，对病人最有耐性的其实是
Pediatric Surgeon，这个很大程度上是职业需要。其他的surgeon对大部分病人可以实
话实说，病人也期望他们这样，偶尔碰到needy的病人，来点tender loving care也无
妨，所以医院里最有bedside manner的往往是外科医生。

It is a natural and subconscious pose after a great shot, the disjoint of
two hands, twirling the club by left hand and holding the right hand as is,
while his eyes locked on the ball flight, waiting for the confirmation of a
great result.
The subconsciousness just kind of told the body to freeze for a moment,
while his mind is in a state of anxious anticipation followed by euphoric
rush.
After a very good shot, I sometimes do the same thing, minus the club-
twirling. It's a great feeli |

Brandon was mysteriously out of town today. Depends on if DB is a man of
